need some advice please

Hello Girls, still no end to my printer and pc misery......really hoped it would be sorted by now, am missing you all so much, I really am getting very depressed by it all, sob...sob.....anyway, today I went with dil to look at some printers, can I decide on the best for me...no-way.....sooo, can you help, it's between the Kodak and Epsom, the Kodak has multi inks, which are very affordable, the Epsom is individual inks that look more affordable, but are they in the long run....I'm not so convinced, just wondered if any of you favoured one or the other, and why......as for the pc, well, I can now comment better on some blogs, but others not at all, very bad.....so if you think I'm not bothering with you, pleaseeeee, it's not ME...lol....love to you all, hope to be back soon.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi Janette,
With regard to commenting on blogs and your problems, I had a similar problem last year when I was using Internet Explorer, it wouldn't even let me on some blogs. So I changed to Google Chrome and have had no problems at all, so far!(And it was easy to change, I did it all by myself which was nothing short of a miracle!)
With Internet explorer I also had the problems of clicking on a blog, then it opening 100's of times until the computer crashed! I've not had this problem with Google Chrome.
As for printer, I've had a Epsom, a Dell and a few Canons. My personal preference is the Canon one, individual inks so I can replace whats run out rather than all the inks.
Hope this is of some help to you
Love Elaine xxx

Hi hunny, sorry you are still having probs, I'm not surprised it's driving you mad or should I say madder lol.
I had an Epsom printer but couldn't colour digi images with distressed inks as the black in ran. I bought a Kodak all in one printer for around £100 a few months ago and love it, as you say the inks are cheap, you don't need to turn on your pc to photocopy, mine is WiFi too and I will probably always buy Kodak from now on.
Hope this helps
hugs Mandy xx

Hiya Janette!

Really cannot help you out here, I have 2 HP printers and they are just fab hun, but I have heard Kodak are pretty good so I would probably go for that one.
Sorry to hear you are having major issues with your server, I hope it sorts itself out soon and we can see your lovely creations :o)

Good luck with choosing ya printer!

Hiya Janette, lovely to see you posting even if there's no cards for now. I'm afraid I can't help with your printer question, but just to say it is nice to hear from you. It's so flipping frustrating when technology is such a pain, I'd be lost without my PC running smoothly, so I hope you get it all sorted soon. Don't get depressed, get crafting! Cheer up hugs on the way to ya. CoB

Hi Janette think printer problems are catching I have a epson and have been really pleased it is 4 years old and is now only just playing up after lots of neglect and hardware & tear. Mine has 3 colour 1 black and managed to get compatible inks cheaply. Might have a look at cannon. I have changed to chromne as couldnt see some blogs with internet explorer.

Sorry to hear you are still having problems Linby. I have a Canon printer which I like as it has individual colours. This is our second Canon printer. The Kodak sounds interesting.

So sorry to hear about your problems, I hope you soon get them sorted out, I'm missing your wonderful cards :o)
Can't help with the printer as I have an HP all in one (multi cartridge) and a Canon (individual inks), and I love both of them. Both of them are fine for colouring with copics/promarkers :o)

Hi Janette,

Sorry I have a cannon, the one I have has two inks black and coloured and I only need to change one or the either as they run out, this is my second cannon and it does a good print. Can't say about the others as I have not had those. I hope you get things sorted out as I am missing your beautiful cards.
take care

I have an epson printer and although the individual ink cartridges are dearer they last longer, you know how much printing I do and I only have to buy maybe once every six months or so, I buy epson ink for the black and cheapers ones for the colour and just print my digis on black ink that way Im not wasting money on colour ones I hardly ever use...hope that helps a bit...thank you so much for your birthday wishes

Hi Janette hun thankyou so much for your comment this morning on my blog it meant a lot hun. On your printer business I have always had epsoms the ones with the individual inks are better then you just replace the one that runs out. I am a big lover of epsom cus you can get the ink clones which are so much cheaper. The epsom I have at the min is rubbish so if you do get an Epsom go for a good one mine was just a cheap one for £40 but I buy my ink in bulk off the internet so once I've used all the ink it will be getting replaced with a better Epsom. I know I havn't been much help hun sorry lol. Take care

Lotsa hugs Vicky xxx

Hi Janette. Sorry to hear about your problems. I have something strange going on m=with my blog at the moment too - which I'm just going to post about. AS for the priner, I always stick with an epson. Individual inks mean I can change just what needs changed and I only ever buy the compatible ones - a tenner for 5/6 inks xx

Hi Janette, been missing you too. Cant help with the printer issue let alone what the others are talking about google chrome! Perhaps you should speak to the companies about their printers and ink for advice especially with regards to one comment someone mentioned about colouring digi images etc which might help you there too. Look forward to seeing your back take care, lol xx
