Our Gala day

Hi All, try and keep this as short as poss, don't want to bore you to death...well the sun has shone all day, and the kids have had a great time, the fair is still going strong and will into the night, although we won't be there...lol...here are a few pics as they passed our house, just one complaint, there were no morris dancers this year and my pipers were missing....other than that, it's been really good, there were so many floats and brass band, belly dancers..lol...Indian chief...loved that it was fantastic....even old soldiers, that made me cry...lol... we've had a lovely day together and some good laughs to...and I never left the house once...lol....and it was free....when does that happen these days.....hope you enjoy seeing these, just thought I would share...thanks for looking, hugs Janette.xxxxxx

How wonderful that this parade goes right past your place. Terrific floats, a lot of work has gone into them especially that castle. Thanks for sharing the photos.

Lovely pics Janette. For years the carnival procession used to pass our house, bringing all the neighbours out to watch, but this year they changed the route - I was SO disappointed!

Hope all is good with you?

Hugs

Great pics,Janette, it must have taken people ages to decorate the floats but they look marvellous. Nice to see the kids on them, must have been quite a day for them. Glad you had a great time and that the weather was kind to them all. CoB
