Little Jacob now...

Hello all, hope your not spinning into a 'Tiz' with all the Christmas prep;

I am just nipping on to show you my grandson Jacob now, this was take on Sunday, he is now 6weeks old and doing very well, he still has health issues, but he and his mummy and daddy are coping well....he is such a sweetheart...

 

See you soon, off to wrap a few more gifts....I don't remember it all being this hard do you...lol....xxx

Decks are up...

Well the lounge is done and the decks are up, I think it looks quite nice....Mia has been having a baking afternoon...she made lots of shortbread, choc chip cookies and a lovely bun cake....none of which will see the night out knowing my lot....have hidden some away for a later date...haha...hope your enjoying your Sunday.....

That's about all for today, like most I will be trying to get sorted for the big holiday coming up, my house is finally finished with the decorating, so fingers crossed, the tree can make an appearance in the next few days...today I am at the hairdressers, not something I love...haha...

Anyway, before all that, I am at the Doctors this morning, ECG time again...oh the joys...lol....

A bit of a re-do...

Hi everyone, I hope your already home and dry, what a night here in the NW of England....

I just popped on to show off my dresser now it's all painted up and new looking,I thought it would never get sorted, we had so many decorating problems, anyhow....done and done, hope you like as much as I...

Sorry the pic is poor, weather and all that, very dark today...

Well, it was stripped on the top only, then coated in with a colour varnish

the body was painted with Rustoleum chalk paint in Antique white, 3 coats and same again with Rustoleum finishing wax, the handles and hinges etc were buffed up with DecoArt Metallic Lustre in Champagne, so easy to use and no odour so something I could sit and do....

I can't tell you how happy I am with my old dresser, many moons ago it had a back to it, long since gone, but i think it looks good....
