Sewing project...

Hi everyone, I hope you are all well and enjoying the week so far...
I have got yet another chest infection, I think I should join the 'Sod it' club, what can you do...!!!!!!
OKAY..
I have twiddled about with bits of quilting, mainly bags, I am NO WAY, much good at this, let me just state that fact, but it is something I can sit and do when I feel not so good and can't colour as the fumes get on my chest...SO...I began doing this little ditty before Christmas and then it got pushed out while we did the whole family thing...as you do....but I have managed to finish it, and I am chuffed, it is not a huge project, and 'Real' quilters will wonder why I am so pleased with myself, but I am, I love the fabrics and the design, each square is around 10inch so you can get the gist, nice for a baby even...
I backed it in white cotton and edged with a satin border covered some buttons with matching fabric too....
So there we are....off to do another project ..will keep you posted if it doesn't end up in a knot...haha...
Thanks for your visit, please let me know what you think, or where I went wrong even....
Have a good afternoon...
Hugs, Janette...xxxx

What a beautiful little quilt, and I am sure that "real quilters" (my daughter is one) will understand your pride :o)

That's a beautiful quilt, I am sure the lucky baby will enjoy the quilt.
Take care and don't over do it.

Oh Janette how can you say you are not much good at quilting, let me tell you right now, this is just lovely honestly I mean it.I am useless at quilting but I love it and just soldier on.I don't care if it's not perfection, what's the point of getting stressed about it when it's to be enjoyed if that's what you like doing. Can't stand these people who sniff if one square isn't quite butted up to the other so what.Rant over ha ha.Sorry you are not well hun and do hope you will soon be better.Big Huggles xxx
