Good Morning Girls, How you all fettlin...well today is my Birthday and I am in fine form......lol....and I have a new challenge for you at CraftyCatz, only four days to go, so lets get busy with our Valentines creations....

We are sponsored by the fabulous Stamp Fairy this week and they are giving $10.00 to the lucky winner to spend with them.

I made a heart shaped box and Tag with a SF image, coloured with Promarkers and lots of glamour dust, ribbon from Dovecraft

Not much to it really, as you can see it's all pretty standard, the stamp ontop of the box was sent to me a million years ago...almost....I just covered it with the dust...oh so shimmery....lol..
And YES, I did hit the scrim again, but only slightly..lol...
I am entering this into the challenge over at Papertake weekly, which is anything goes...with an option of add a heart or love theme....check to all...

Now then, I hope your all really well, I had a surprise visit from two of my wonderful friends yesterday, they came bearing gifts and we had a lovely afternoon, I was really honoured that they even attempted the journey in this awful weather, so thankful for fab friends...

Hope your all ok, my DIL had an accident yesterday morning, the car skidded on the ice, ungritted road again....she went through an edge and almost hit a big old oak tree, thankfully she was ok, very shaken but glad to have stopped where she did, the car, however is in a right old mess, but like I said, it can be put right, things could have been so different.........

Kept the inside simple and just stamped a forever sentiment that I have.

I decided to do a Tilda card, not done one in a while and really love this image, sooo cute...she is coloured with Promarkers and lots of glamour dust.

Good morning, time for a new challenge at CraftyCatz and it's our lovely Bridgets turn to host, she has chosen 'Things with Wings' and our sponsors this week at The Stamping Boutique, gave us some cute images to play with. They are also offering one lucky winner 3 digi images of there choice....

I made a Book mark with my sweet fairy image, coloured with Promarkers and 3d glossed the toadstool.The glitter paper is from stash, covered the heart die with viva decor pearls and then crackle glaze and added the stars which I have had forever...the webbing is just scrim coloured with a promarker, ribbon, brad and initial all from stash....The edge is die cut with NS die

Dream Valley DT challenge 24

Good Morning, Happy Sunday, hope your all having a good week-end. Are you up to anything nice...I am going to try and sort abit more stuff out on my pc today, my files are all over the place, I spent ages the other night and still no further, like throwing a deckchair off the Titanic as they say...lol.....
Onto the new challenge over at Dream Valley, this time it's all about Animals......I was concerned when I first saw this, but then I realised that our yummy little TeddyBo is actually an animal...lol...just don't tell Teddy....

I decided to go with a gift box/bag, The main cardstock is from the Papermill shop, when we still had one near us...thats how long I've had it, the tag,die cut and little metal hoop,are all from stash, everything else is from wins I had last year, the Image is a Teddy Bo and is coloured with Promarkers.

The winner of this challenge will get a SUPRISE PACKAGE....so much so even I don't know what it is...lol...LOVE surprises don't you....

FOOTNOTE FOR SUE AND KATRINA........I didn't really think anyone would be interested how I made it...lol...it was easy, two pieces of A4 card bonded together but leave a slit across one where you can slide your note book in position....the heart shape was cut before I stuck together and then decorate as required...there....lol...oh and as for the flower tute...well I think I may have found it...lol...NOW you see why I never get anywhere...lol...xxxxxxx

Evening everyone, hope you've had a fab day and if not lets hope tomorrow will play nicer...lol...
I made this for a friend of Carla', she got engaged on New Years Eve, all very romantic and she did not have a clue...oh that makes me feel all wobbly...lol.....yes I do remember how that felt, just because it didn't work out for me (TWICE ) does not mean I don't believe in love, I do, it's wonderful and there is nothing like it...I just won't ever try again...lol....anyways...lets get on...

I bought this canvas board at Christmas as it was reduced and I thought well you never know...I swished round the edges with cosmic shimmer, added a sheet of glitter card Carla picked up for me, swished it again and added Glamour Dust, all the dies are from NS new stash,big flowers, ribbon and scrim,are from candy wins from Donna and Carole,the rest from stash. Teddy Bo Image coloured with Promarkers...of course...sentiment pc generated
Side view, I did put a small brass hanging thingy on the back, sorry no pic...forgot...lol...
It's quite large, 19cms X 19cms and I made a box as usual and forgot to take photo of that to....doh.....

Good Morning and HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all, hope you all enjoyed the holidays and are now raring to go....We have a fab new challenge at CraftyCatz all ready for you, so get your crafty stash out and lets play.....

This week our wonderful teamie Dianne chose the theme, which is New beginnings ...Anew Baby, wedding, new home etc;... We are very lucky to be sponsored by CraftyEmmasStore this week details of the prize will be on the challenge blog.

I decided to start the new year with a box, I used my lovely new NS dies for the borders and the top and bottom, the flowers are made from a canvas type material I had in my sewing stash, and if anyone is interested I will show you how I did them, easy but time consuming....the heart sentiment is also a Nellie die, ribbon and pearls from stash.The tiny roses are also from stash.It's a shame the pics don't show the gorgeous glitter card I used to make it all in, so pretty and it's from AuntySue, a chrimbo pressie....love it Sue....I thought this would be lovely to give a gift to a new Bride....

Well I hope you like it,for once I do...lol...

I went to see my Grandsons on Wednesday night in the school play, oh I was in a state, why I always end up crying is beyond me, but I do, all the little ones, so cute, I really enjoyed it, at the end we all got a song sheet and had a sing song with the kids....YEP... I could hardly speak...lol....Next week we have my sweet Mia' concert, now that will be trying...where is that water proof mascara when I need it...lol.....

Evening Everyone, hope your all ready for a fab week-end, I am hoping to get into my loft and grab all the decks this week-end, well, my boys will be anyway...lol.....

Here is another Wall Hanging I made this week, it's much bigger than the others, but made the same...does that make sense....

All I did was emboss the red cardstock with gold embossing powder, the stamp is a snowflake design I won last year, no maker on it sorry, but it's circular if thats any help....
Did the same with the die cut letters and swirls,ribbon and bell from stash, the gold poinsetta is from a friend, and of course my now famous... Martha Stewart punch....

Hope you like it, it's for Carla, hope she will keep her hands off mine now..lol....

Christmas wall hanging..

Good Evening, hope your all well and dodging this awful weather, wow those winds are so bad, scares me to death when it's like this...anyway, I have been making these hearts again, this time they are on a solid board back, so sturdy and hopefully, long lasting.....

It started last week when I got the idea that these would make a nice addition to the christmas Decks, so got hold of my SIL and forced him to get cutting, and he did..lol...even sanded them for me, I then painted them with white acrylic. Cut a heart out of card, stamped and heat embossed it, cut a smaller heart in the middle to make a frame, added the gorgeous Mo Manning image, Boughs for the wreaths, coloured with Promarkers and some shimmer for the snow,added some fibre from stash, around the edges,snowflakes from last year from Tilly, added some tiny gold beads I have had for ages, the big Ribbon is some I still had left on a roll from Christmas' long ago, it's the wired kind so makes it easy. and then slightly bowed two metal corners, from Mandy, quickly swished with acrylic again and stuck with hot glue...Edged it with MS doily punch......Can I just tell you about this punch, mine broke...again...so got in touch with Joanna Sheen to ask if it could be repaired or whatever, the y told me to send it back to them, but they were'nt selling them now...soooo....I did, the wonderful woman only sent me her very own and asked would I accept that....now is that good or what...I could not believe my luck, can't wack that for service, they were under no obligation at all....well pleased...... The letters are from a pack I bought a few weeks ago from Burnside Garden Center, Woodware Chippies, love them so versatile and could do with a stack of them to be honest, better add that to my wish list for Carla...lol....anyway, covered them with cosmic shimmer.

Thats about it, this is the second one I made by the way, show you the other tomorrow, if I get chance, my tribe are coming,I also had to do a much bigger one for Carla' friend, who apparently, in true Carla style, moved on Thursday, of course Carla forgot until Wednesday night.....oh that girl, how many times is this now....and I never got a picture of it...by the time I was done, I was knackered, just told her to come get it and leave me alone...lol....bloody kids....

I hope you can help me out here,I made this box to put some treats in for a friend, she never comes on my blog so no probs there....anyway, something about it isn't right, is it lacking something or does it need something....I can't put my finger on it at all, but it's driving me nuts....just not how I pictured it at all...feel really disappointed in it...what do you think...I mean REALLY think, should I ditch and start over.......hhheeeellllllllllpppppppppp....lol...

Well thats me again girls, off to see some of your blogs now, see what I'm missing more like......lol...oh I must tell you this, many of you will know that my darling daughter is always asking me to make something or other...always the day before she wants it, she still believes I own a magic wand....anyhooo, the other day she comes round and wants a fruit basket, filled with fruits for some project at school, and YES....she HAD to have it the next morning....soooo...Mum went into crafting mode and did it.....it's flat backed, it has to stick on the wall...but I was quite pleased, those bananas were a bugger though...lol....and no wonder they send people Basket weaving as therapy...it works.... not saying I would shout it from the roof tops, but not too bad considering.....anyway, you get to see and don't be afraid to tell the truth....lol...

'M' is for Mia

Evening All, have you all had a fab week-end, mines been a funny one really, people in and out all the time, no time for me...lol....looking forward to tonights telly though, second part of Appropriate Adult...so good don't you think...

Here is the 'M' I promised to share with you....took alittle longer to get here than expected, but done....

Same as before, painted with acrylic,flowers are cut from a doily, coloured with promarkers in the center,some glitter at the edges and a pearl in the middle, I stamped the whole letter with my little favourite design, it never did have a name on and cost about 50p, use it all the time, and alittle crown that I have from a win.The crown is a free download which I printed smaller and cut out, covered with glossy accents,glitter and a few gems from stash,Butterfly is from stash, bunting I made as usual and crochet cotton I ran the ends through clear glue and wound round a fine pencil till dry to keep the curly effect.
the word love is a die cut from the garden center, I got about five all bunched together for 99p....how good is that, anyway, gave it the paint, gloss and glitter treatment....
Think that about covers it, Mia was very pleased with it so it's all good.....hope you have a nice evening, and if your in the path of the predicted weather front we are expecting over the next day or so, take care, have spent the day moving anything that could take flight,and a friend of mine has even cut her prize Daisy's....well as you know to get hit by a flying Daisy would be horrendous...lol...sorry my friend, how could I resist...I am waiting for the flak I will get for that remark...lol...

An 'L' of a creation.....

Can you see where I was heading with that title...lol.....I don't know whats up with me, but here I am again with another 'just for the fun of it' creation...Made this for Grandson Lucas, for his bedroom wall, he love boats and fish etc...as well as his beloved footie, and swimming...all this at five....anywho, bought the letter at Burnside Garden Center last week, only a couple of quid, painted with acrylic and made a lifebuoy and the boat, now I know it's not the best boat ever, but hey...he likes it...the Dolphin was just traced from an image and cut from cardstock, covered with glossy accents..... it had to have a dog on it as he loves the 'thought' of owning a dog.....not just now Lucas....it is now hanging proudly in his little room....now onto the next one...'M'........heaven help me...lol...

Morning Girls and happy friday, hope it's been a good week for you.
Time for a new challenge at CraftyCatzand this week it's our fabulous and lovely team mate Dianne' turn to host, and she chose Monochrome....lots of inspiration on the blog so pop over if you need some.......

The team were given some images to play with, I chose this little sweetie posting her Christmas cards..well I think she is anyway..

As you can see it's a very simple card, NOT what I thought it was going to look like at all...you know when you have something in mind and it just does not work out...well...this is it...I'm really not happy with the end result and didn't have time to re make...so this is it...lol...
The touches of colour on the image are done with gunmetal, ultra fine glitter
Flower was roughly cut out by hand and scrunched and then layered up and edged with glitter again

Just a quickie, I meant to do this the other day, saw this first on MIC blog, thought how fab it looked....then I had ago, oh boy, it's soooo not easy, you stamp your image in a light colour, I used a very pale green I had, then colour, but you kinda loose the lines, you can see I over did her face and missed the top of her hair...lol...it's a whole new way to learn I think, anyway, have you had ago yet, am off to try again...wish me luck, I think I'll need it.xxx

Morning Girls, Hope you've all had a good week, yes, it has flown again, can you believe it. Hi All, hope your all well and not suffering from the riots, if you are then stay safe...

Well I can't stop making these things, this is the fourth one so far, I know I have'nt shown them all as I did'nt want to drive you daft with them..lol...this was for my Grandaughter, Mia, and she LOVES it...I win again this week...lol....

Think this was pretty easy to make, the heart is a full A4 card cut out of heavy cardstock, the paper was from a friend so pretty I felt it didn't need covering, so I just used a glue pen to highlight the fairy and the pattern and loads of glitter....even I was covered, but that seems par for the course lately....leaves are the usual stamped images, cut, inked and also glittered to the brink...pearls and butterfly, oh and the glitter alpha's from stash... and so are flowers and netting....thats it....quite happy with the result...what do you think girls....did Nana do good...lol....take care, hugs Janette.xxxx

Allsorts challenge

Good Morning campers, what a glorious day, I will try and keep this short as I am in soooo much pain with my back and hip...driving me daft and am on some powerful painkillers to try and sort it out...fingers crossed....lol...

Last night I was trying to take my mind off things and had a play around, I had some net I wanted to use, nothing special, from a kids playset actually....do we ever throw anything away...lol...anywho, I cut a large heart from card, covered it with dp from PM, stamped a few leaves and inked and covered with crystal glaze,had some glitter letters and just used a sandstone promarker on them, flowers from stash as was button and the chipboard watering can was from a garden center, 20p it cost and I wish I had bought more now, I did buy a few, but now I want more..lol...oh and I sprayed the net with spakle and shine....well it wasn't even dry and Carla walks in and says she would love it, I did want it for my craft room...but well, I only have one daughter don't I...lol...and it gives me an excuse to make another with a nice snail I have stashed..she's not getting that though...lol....hope you like it, thanks for calling and will get round to you later, have to go and move now...oh boy it's murder I can tell you, and I'm not soft...lol..

Hi All, try and keep this as short as poss, don't want to bore you to death...well the sun has shone all day, and the kids have had a great time, the fair is still going strong and will into the night, although we won't be there...lol...here are a few pics as they passed our house, just one complaint, there were no morris dancers this year and my pipers were missing....other than that, it's been really good,there were so many floats and brass band, belly dancers..lol...Indian chief...loved that it was fantastic....even old soldiers, that made me cry...lol... we've had a lovely day together and some good laughs to...and I never left the house once...lol....and it was free....when does that happen these days.....hope you enjoy seeing these, just thought I would share...thanks for looking, hugs Janette.xxxxxx

Morning Girls, hope your all well and have had a good week..I am hoping that this publishes on time as I have to be somewhere else today....anyway, onto the challenge....

Well thats all form me for now...yesterday my daughter Graduated, we were all delighted to see her get this....she has more hard work in front of her this year for her BA in Education and Child studies.. I think she is wonderful, it's never easy and when you have two small children and a job and home to run...well...she has more about her than I did....anyway, I am one proud Mum and will try and get some of the pics up asap....

Here is a little about them.

Sassy Studio Designs is a fresh new company. We have been designing and selling for a year now, and we have been kindly received into the community of digi stampers and crafters. I started designing images shortly after I started stamping, reason being...I didn't hardly like anything else out there I was a young adult woman at the time I was engaged, had no kids, I wanted fun sexy images that I would enjoy using and my friends and hubby would enjoy receiving. I designed images for 2 other digi stamp companies when my wonderful hubby kept trying to get me to go out on my own. So in June 2009 thanks to the few faithful followers I had, Sassy Studio Designs was born! It has been a wonderful journey starting my own store. We have just grown so much these past months.I still try to keep

My card was made using one of the the sponsors images, coloured with promarkers,the flower is from an old woodware punch and the tuille is from stash.Heart is my usual handcut and stamped then edged in gunmetal glitter, love that colour, used it on the image and edges of card and flowers too, hope you can see it well, oh and the studs were from stash, had those for ages just wish I could remember where they came from and the sentiment is, I think one of Angie'.
