Crafty Catz Challenge card

This fab new challenge blog has it's first challenge this week with a colour combo,Brown,Green and Blue.....plus an optional charm if it takes your fancy....please go along and have a look and join in the fun,they have a lovely prize for the winner and the top five will also get a badge for there blog.....think thats right,but hey,go see for yourselves......lol.....now to my card,have had this image a while now from a swap,unfortunately it has no name etc; so I don't know who's it is,but would be interested to know......coloured in using various water colour pencils,whispers and dovecraft markers{thanks kirsty}the little gems in the center of the flowers are from my Grandaughter,a freebie with a kids mag....can you believe that,but I have her well trained,she knew they were for me....lol....flower from my usual woodware punch and the papers all from My minds Eye,Bohemia....and I am also sad to say that it's getting to the last of these papers,they have been a delight to use,and I can't even remember where or when I bought them,must keep my eyes peeled for more.The little scalloped edges have been done using tiny punched out hearts......let me tell you,that was hard work......but I was happy with the result,I hope you like it and would love to hear your comments,so don't be shy,SAY SOMETHING......lol......there is an echo in here.....lol....bye for now and take care,hugs Janette.x

Play day card....

Made this out of sheer boredom last night.....well you can't just sit there and 'veg out' can you....thats my excuse anyway......thought I'd have a change so stamped some card up with the little flowers and then embossed it and the big flower was cut out by hand,hope it looks ok......inked the edges with chestnut chalk and there you have it......hope you like it but you can tell me if you don't....I can stand it.Hope your all having a good week,tomorrow my Daughter starts her teaching course,well guess who's helping out with the little ones....YESSSS,that would be me.....lol....it'll be fine......I keep telling myself that.....but I want her to finish her degree more than anything so it's all good.....take care my friends and please let me know if you've been here,love to hear from you,hugs Janette.xx

Friendship Card Swap..

We do this each month on the DC forum,Carol Jenks runs it....{really well I might add}it's a nice way of getting to know people and maybe making new friends.This one went to a friend,MargaretD,we seem to get paired up alot at the moment,which is also fine,I love this little image,it comes in handy for so many occasions and I know Margaret will love it too.I must say how sorry I am for the quality of the picture,I am doing battle with my scanner and I am determined to win....lol....well at least every now and then,my digi cam is also 'on the blink'.....anyway after a few attempts this was the best one.....I know.....lol....cheek of the thing.....lol...well,I hope your all doing well and had a good week-end,at least we have'nt had to put up with any rain,well not for a few days anyway....sure it will catch up with us....lol....in the mean time,take care,hugs Janette.x

'Big Aud's' Tilda Challenge..

Afternoon everyone,hope your all enjoying your week-end.....very quiet for me so far...everyone busy getting ready for tomorrow when the children go back to school...seven weeks this time.....can just imagine the sighs of relief....lol.....right then,down to my card.....Tilda challenge over at the do-crafts forum,this week hosted by a lovely lady Audrey....Pink and Red were the colours,2 flowers,a bow and lace,oh and flowery paper....oh dear....didn't have any lace...and no paper that was just red and pink...so I improvised abit and made some....not great,I know,but best I could do....I hope you like.....do you think it looks abit 'Valentine'..ish......lol....mmmm....one for a very deep box me thinks..Thanks so much for stopping by,enjoy whats left of the week-end and take care,hugs Janette.x
