Allsorts challenge

Good Morning campers, what a glorious day, I will try and keep this short as I am in soooo much pain with my back and hip...driving me daft and am on some powerful painkillers to try and sort it out...fingers crossed....lol...


Last night I was trying to take my mind off things and had a play around, I had some net I wanted to use, nothing special, from a kids playset actually....do we ever throw anything away...lol...anywho, I cut a large heart from card, covered it with dp from PM, stamped a few leaves and inked and covered with crystal glaze,had some glitter letters and just used a sandstone promarker on them, flowers from stash as was button and the chipboard watering can was from a garden center, 20p it cost and I wish I had bought more now, I did buy a few, but now I want more..lol...oh and I sprayed the net with spakle and shine....well it wasn't even dry and Carla walks in and says she would love it, I did want it for my craft room...but well, I only have one daughter don't I...lol...and it gives me an excuse to make another with a nice snail I have stashed..she's not getting that though...lol....hope you like it, thanks for calling and will get round to you later, have to go and move now...oh boy it's murder I can tell you, and I'm not soft...lol..

CraftyCatz challenge Christmas in July

Good Morning and Happy Friday, time for another challenge at CraftyCatz, this week it's the lovely Suzie' turn and she choose Christmas in July...if your anything like me that sounds daunting..lol...but once I got cracking I really enjoyed it...so please join us, at least you'll have made a start on all those cards, I promise each year to start early and never do, well since doing this one I have two more...so there..lol...We are sponsored again this week by The Stamping Boutique and one lucky winner gets to pick 3 images,we were lucky enough to be given some to play with and they are fab, I chose the Snowman for mine, so cute.

Our Gala day

Hi All, try and keep this as short as poss, don't want to bore you to death...well the sun has shone all day, and the kids have had a great time, the fair is still going strong and will into the night, although we won't be there...lol...here are a few pics as they passed our house, just one complaint, there were no morris dancers this year and my pipers were missing....other than that, it's been really good,there were so many floats and brass band, belly dancers..lol...Indian chief...loved that it was fantastic....even old soldiers, that made me cry...lol... we've had a lovely day together and some good laughs to...and I never left the house once...lol....and it was free....when does that happen these days.....hope you enjoy seeing these, just thought I would share...thanks for looking, hugs Janette.xxxxxx

CraftyCatz challenge..no PINK or BLUE

Morning all, hope your all feeling well and glad the week-end is upon us.
This week it was AuntySue's turn to host the CraftyCatz challenge instead of choosing colours to use, she has decided on no PINK or BLUE.....not as easy as I thought, how much pink and blue do I need...lol.....we are sponsored by The Stamping Boutique, and the lucky winner will be able to choose 3 images...

OK am off to Doctor myself up, my chest is playing up again, do you know, one of my friends told me she has 3 other pals with COPD and they are all ill at the moment....then I start, do you think it's the power of suggestion or what....anyway, I will blame Tilly for telling me...lol....

CraftyCatz Vintage challenge

Morning Girls, hope your all well and have had a good week..I am hoping that this publishes on time as I have to be somewhere else today....anyway, onto the challenge....

This week at CraftyCatz, our fabulously, lovely, Dianne has decided she wants to see Vintage, the DT have made some gorgeous cards for you to get inspired by, so please hop over and have a looksie..we are sponsored this week by RobynsFetish, and we all got a digi pack of gorgeous papers to use, they really are so lovely and print beautifully..and guess what...the prize for one lucky winner is 5 digi stamps or 4 digi stamps and I digi paper pack....

I found alittle stamp I had given me and used it on the corners of the card and image, then cut around it and slipped the card in, I think it looks nice for a change..lol...and NO AuntySue, you can't have it back...lol...

Well thats all form me for now...yesterday my daughter Graduated, we were all delighted to see her get this....she has more hard work in front of her this year for her BA in Education and Child studies.. I think she is wonderful, it's never easy and when you have two small children and a job and home to run...well...she has more about her than I did....anyway, I am one proud Mum and will try and get some of the pics up asap....

Birthday card for Carla.

Afternoon to all, nice and hot still, so no complaints today..lol..Just popped on to share a card I just finished for my Daughters Birthday tomorrow,still have'nt made the box yet and I STILL have'nt made a Graduation card for her for Thursday...it'll be a rush job I just know it....lol...

CraftyCatz challenge......Colours of Summer

Good morning and not only Happy Friday, but happy first of July...OMG..can you believe that it is really JULY ....already......it's flying.....
I am so late with my post today, would you believe I have been trying since 9.30am this morning and it's now 11.13am....I do the sign in and out thing, but it's just a massive task each time...please tell me I am not alone..lol...
