Thursday again...already

Good morning, here I am with a new card, I saw this image last week and HAD to have it...she is gorgeous, from All Dressed Up and she is lovely to colour up...

Coloured with Pro and Flex markers, the DP is from UrbanStyle and the little sentiment is pc generated, I know she is very CAS, but really, what else does she need....

Got the Thursday blues....

Hello there, hope all is well in your world...Me!!!!!! bored beyond belief...my back is driving me mad, I can barely move so I can't do anything, my family are away and all is spookily quiet, no grand kiddos running in and asking for this, that and the other, weird indeed....and my eldest son Lee is 41 tomorrow...omg...ok for him he looks younger than his years, but me...well, what can I say.....

ANYWAYS..I looked through and noticed this I hadn't blogged, so something to do and hope you'll like...

The image is from All Dressed Up and Wendy has so many gorgeous images to chose from, she also very generously has a freebie page for all her followers..you can find out more HERE.....I printed this onto CraftersCompanion Craft card, coloured with Poly's and white charcoal, cut into a tag and added a bow, think the ribbon is from Bertie's Bows, DP from last years Xmas stash

Christmas card....oh nooooo

Hello lovely people, hope your all doing fine and dandy..

I have lost my card making mojo just lately so decided this morning to make a Christmas card, abit of cheer and glitter....

Can't beat abit of Mo Manning to colour up,Winter  Fairy Halla is a firm fav...you can find her HERE and she is coloured with Flex markers.lots of glitter everywhere as you can see, the dies are all covered to, do any of you have that snowflake die because I have to tell you, it's on it's way to the bin if it doesn't start to behave, I had the worse time and trust me when I tell you, it hurts me alot when cutting out dies, yes I suffer for my crafting...lol..The papers are Maja design[ wrapped in old newspaper], gorgeous and double sided, the border is cut from the paper end...

That ribbon is some I had in my stash and I don't remember buying it...sorry folks...

There you have it, still feel no mojo, come back all is forgiven....

All getting abit boring now I know....

Afternoon, hope all is well, just thought I'd blog this before it goes off into no-mans land...

Boring..!!!!!!...just a tad, this is the last one like this for a while..lol

This little set is nearly fifty years old, it was one of the last gifts my grandmother...Lily...bought before she passed, it has been used for all my jewellery since and it was needing a change so this is it..

I painted it before, this is the start to strip down, you know the drill..

First coat on....

Once I'd stripped the drawers i gave them a coat of dark wax finish, and waxed the drawers too with clear wax....

So another year or two and then change again, the chalk paint was a great buy from Aldi, and it's cracking stuff...

A little set of drawers...re-do...

Hi Everyone, are you enjoying the lovely sunny day, I have been very busy this week, and it's doing me no favours, but, hopefully now I can get a good rest up before the family turn up on Friday....not that I have lots to do for them, but company can sometimes wipe me out...ANYWAYS...thought I would share a re-do I did for Carla this week, this little drawer set has wondered through both our homes, and I just wanted something to do that wasn't 'to much' for me...so here is is...I am quite pleased and she loves it...[till next time..]

Before we started..

And here it is now...all tarted up...

Sanded, painted and waxed, filigree what-its cut in half and hot glued on and the Tonic die set came to the rescue for the numbers, I cut from heavy card a couple of times, layered them up and painted in charcoal chalk paint same as the filigree bits, shame the handles couldn't be changes, but the don't screw on and are stuck fast.....if it ain't broke don't fix it....

Inside the drawers I painted Duck Egg chalk paint..

So there you have it, hope you like...may go see if I can find any challenges to fit it...

Hearts and flowers...

Hi everyone I hope your well...

I made this heart for a friend who is fighting a battle once again and hopefully winning...she's a tough cookie and is giving it all she's got...this is a little reminder that we are thinking of her all  the way back to good health...

I cut some board and painted it with acrylic first, then the stencils and paste came out to play, a touch of inking here and there, wyncinka chippies, beads,  sisal, flower soft and flowers and finally a nice ribbed bow, I know she loved it and I hope it makes her smile thinking of friends...
