CraftyCatz challenge #384...ATG...

Good morning and welcome to this weeks CraftyCatz challenge, you probably know by now that we are almost always an ATG blog these days and the twist is always OPTIONAL....

This week it was Jac's turn to chose, she has gone for Halloween...we have to do it but you certainly don't...so just come along and play, you don't want to miss our lovely sponsor prize this week...

Gorgeous image, coloured with Flex markers, the little tags etc were a google find, just resized, ribbon stash and DP is from one of my fave pads by Enogreeting, called Paper Designer, gorgeous thick paper...

So, that's it once again, another week flown by on big wings I think...

IF I find any challenges I will add later...

For now, have a really nice weekend, enjoy, the weather has been colder this week, but not as wet as before, in fact two days in a row I got washing dried on the line, glorious sunshine but abit parky....that's fine by me...lol..

Mixed media heart...

Hi everyone, just adding this one before I forget, made it last week when I was messing about and just thought I'd share...

Mixed Media Heart, love playing with this sort of thing...

Well I started with by cutting four hearts out and bonding them together, made it nice and ridged..

At this point I left a gap in the center, had a whole other design in mind, but that changed as I went along...I used a TH stencil with some texture paste

Using lots of acrylics, powertex balls and just about any old thing that was laying about,also added some bent wire and twisted it about to say Love....  then painted it all over and added crackle medium, after that was finally dried...Yawn.....I rubbed in some deco art colour for depth and then sprayed it with a sealant...phew...

If you never tried this then why not have ago, I love to just simply play around and you can use up so many things, quite amazing

Well I made this for a friend, not a birthday for a while but ready and waiting...

lots of prettiness I think, image is from Graphics Fairy, it was a Friday freebie,papers are dovecraft,hessian ribbon, lace,sisal, wycinka chippies from LLC, sadly gone now, flowers wild orchid and pearls from stash
