Hi all, hope you are all well.
I haven't made anything new for a week or so, well apart from a Evacuee tag for my little grandsons school class, they were learning about the war, he looked so realistic it made me cry to think of them all, haha. No photo but thats ok, it turned out well. Anyways, I looked through my pics and found this, not posted as not to struck, but here goes.
Birthday tag, cut the shape from white card, rubbed some ink and stamped some script and swirls, had to do the splashes of course, then added the shapes, you know I have had those dies forever and hardly used them at all, then added a birthday sentiment, double cut, done.
As I look at this I am not so sure if I did show this before but can't find any sign of it, sorry if you remember it, senior moments and all that stuff.
Thats all for today, I have lots to get on with its just getting round to doing it all.
Stay well and warm, the sudden drop in temps has been a change this week but so long as the rain stops who cares..
Thankyou so much for leaving a comment, it means so much.

Fabulous grungy tag Janette, love the shapes and splatters- as for the senior moments have a few of those lately!!! We have had three quite mild days for the time of year, pulled a few things up in the garden yesterday got bitten by a spider I think -was up during the night taking anti histamine-today hand is really hot, red and swollen!

It's a gorgeous tag Janette, I haven't seen it before so don't think you've already posted it!
It's hard to imagine how awful it must have been for those children to be parted from their families and everything they knew and be sent to live with strangers, seeing your little grandson dressed as one must have made it horribly real!
We're currently enjoying a really warm spell here, have been sitting out in the summer house with my book, enjoying what will probably be the last day out there this year, I think we're due rain after today so made the most of it while I could!
Have a good weekend- hope the rain keeps away for you.
xx
I've never seen it before and it amazing with those shapes and splatters, which I love, and the birthday die cut is fabulous, I love the textures..have a great weekend..

A great tag Janette, the colours work so well.
I can't imagine how those Evacuee children must have felt being sent away to strangers, no wonder it made you cry.
Off for a little catch up now.

Your Evacuee tag for your grandson's school class sounds like a meaningful project, even if there's no photo. The birthday tag you shared is lovely, with its inked background, script, and swirl stamps. It's great to see those old dies getting some use—beautifully done!
I don't recall seeing this one Janette but I definitely think I would have remembered as it is a real beauty. So much for the eye to see!!
Even if I had seen this one, it is definitely worth seeing again. I would call this elegant grunge and I love it! I'm sure it was a difficult thinking about your grandson and his classmates, but at the same time, I am so glad they are learning about difficult historical events. We don't ever want that kind of history to repeat.
A beautiful tag, even if you don't think so Janette, I love the colours and the design. x
