Christmas is coming......

Morning to all, hope all is well.

We are waiting on a storm coming in, as I look across the fields toward the sea its very dark and stormy looking, thankfully I have nowhere to be today so its hunker down and stay warm.

I made this card after seeing one of Mo's DT use the door in a similar way, she had merged a few images which is always fun, I decided to just use two, the door and the boots from Santa.

Coloured with PM pens, for the brick stencil I used TH ink, the sentiment is from an old stamp set, layered up on gold card.

Thats about it, I really like the look of this and was happy to find some inspiration on Mo's blog, my mojo has gone walk-about.

Hope you like.

BTW, remember asking you all about the daft number of visitors I was getting on here, some of you agreed you were having the same thing, well this last post I did has now got 1909 views, haha, how can that be with so few comments.....the mind boggles !!!!!!

A great Winter scene Janette, the red gives a real fell of warmth.

The storm is just reaching us, thunder forecast and I'm off in the car to the Vet, typical.

Beautiful Christmas card and images, love the deep red and stencilled background. Hope you are okay, I did wonder at the numbers and thought maybe they were seen in the challenges and people came for a closer look-but even so the numbers are ridiculous!

This card is absolutely charming—such a cozy and festive vibe. The way you combined the door and Santa’s boots creates a lovely storytelling moment, and the deep red against the stenciled brick adds so much warmth. Your creativity always shines through, even when the mojo tries to wander off.

Your card is so heart warming and full of Christmas excitement Janette. Great add with the boots. I think the storm is here with us today. Skies are black and it raining so heavily. I actually put the heating on today for the first time since March! Stay warm.

A beautiful card Janette, Mo's images are the best! Love the story this tells with Santa's boots left outside the door- Mrs C. is very houseproud and he wouldn't dare tread snow onto her floors!
Sounds as if you have very similar weather to what we experienced on holiday!! xxx
