Two posts in one day....whats going on...lol....well,I thought I had best get this done sooner...rather than later as I missed last weeks due to me having no time...first it's busy with the 'Thankyou Teacher' cards....then it's busy with the grandchildren....lol....anyway,hope all is well where you are...on with the card...this week at CreativeInspiration, the theme is Animals... Get well card for Mary

Today was our Village Gala Day,I am so lucky that it passes my house as it goes down into the village....oh it was a beautiful sight,all the little ones dressed like princess' on the floats and horse drawn carriages,one carriage had been made to look like Cinderella, it was fantastic...add to that the brass bands and the dancers...oh it was cheerful.....I didn't manage to get down to the fair this time...maybe next year..and the weather actually held out so all in all a good day for my little Village....lol...hope you've all been having a nice day whatever your doing....take care,Hugs Janette.xxx

Teacher thankyou card

Just thought I would share this one with you all......it's for one of my Grandsons who leaves Nursery this time to start School....and he hasn't been taking it to well...hence the image...just reminded me of what Lucas used to do when he first started nursery...lol.....oh dear....fingers crossed he will be ok when the time comes,he is fortunate to have his mummy there with him,and his sister AND his cousin....lol.....the image is obviously one of Mo's,papers are from Summertime designs and ribbon from stash....I even wrote a little verse for him to his wonderful teacher...she has been amazing,well they all have but he loves this one....thanks for coming and having a look,now come on ladies,please leave me a comment and tell me what you think....big hugs Janette

Creative Inspirations challenge card

It's 'Let's get physical' this week over at the CI blog,and I have to say the DT cards are brilliant...I have actually cried laughing at one in particular you really must go see for yourselves...lol....onto my card

The image was a freebie from the new blog Inklined...they have some brilliant images for all occasions,coloured in with PM's,the blue plaid paper was a download from SummerDriggs,the other paper was sent to me TWO yrs ago...lol...from AuntySue actually....thats how bad I can get over paper....lol....buttons PM...made the little bunting and used...oh nooooo....peel-off's...oh the shame...lol....well I was abit busy with a child at the time....lol....thats it folks....Other than I almost blew myself up about an hour ago....lol...my iron has been on the blink for a while,each time I used it the electrics went,but,me being me,thought well as long as the trip switch keeps going I won't come to any harm....Oh really....lol....twice it blew and as I returned from the mains box I heard this loud bang...still the penny didn't drop...BANG again and lights and sparks flying.....oh gosh did I panic..anyway got very brave and unplugged it and took it to the bin...sob...sob...I loved this Iron...don't like ironing,but loved the Iron....lol....so there's my little story for today...bet your thrilled I shared that with you...lol....well,hope your all ok and not getting to bogged out with all the rain.....thanks for droppin by,take care,hugs Janette.xxxx

Sugarbowl challenge

Good Morning ladies,Are you all enjoying the week-end...well with the weather being soooo bad at least we have a good excuse to do abit of extra crafting...lol....not that we need one....made this one for the challenge over at the Sugarbowl,don't you just love the name...conjures up all things sweet and nice....lol...this time it's a sketch and the colour blue has to be used somewhere....

Allsorts challenge 60...July Love..

Afternoon ladies,What a day it's been here,the weather has gone completely up the wall,and with whats been forecast over the next few days....well I don't think I will be topping my tan up any time soon.....Had to make a wallet for a friend, so thought I would enter it into this weeks challenge at Allsorts....July Love....hearts in other words....was pleased with the way it turned out as there was no card whatsoever involved in it....lol....made with a sheet of gorgeous,thick TimHoltz idea-oligy paper,I was lucky to win a whole pad of this a while back and have sat staring at it ever since....but it is soooo beautiful to work with.....and surprisingly sturdy to...stamped it all over with various swirls etc; and inked up the edges abit,with TH distress inks of course...lol....my lovely PenPal image was also coloured with the same inks,cut out a tag and threaded ribbon from stash through,made a heart,and the little postcards were all from stash,just resized on pc.....I hope she likes it....sorry to dash but my DIL has just arrived from the Dr.s she hurt her back the other day and has been crawling around ever since...poor girl....Thankyou so much for popping in and having a little look,let me know what you think wont you.....take care,hugs Janette.xxxx

Challenge card..for CraftyCatz and SimonSays..

Good afternoon ladies,how you all doing,well I know lots of you are lapping up the sunshine....not here unfortunately....it's hot but overcast and even rainy at times.....could do with a good thunderstorm to sort us out I think....anyway,onto my card,this week at CraftyCatz is sketch week,and a fab one it is too....and over at Simonsays it is a photo inspired week... decided to use this fab image from KennyK...his images are brilliant and I think they have a new challenge starting tomorrow...worth a look,especially if you can win an image from him.....that would be soooo great.....lol...she is coloured in with promarkers,papers are just stamped up with a flourish and inked alittle with shimmer chalks,flowers are from a punch and gems are PM....my lovely die-cuts are from my pal....yes....aunty sue...who else.....sentiment is from a little set and I can't remember the name...slapped for that....sorry.....hope you like her a little bit.......

Creative Inspirations and Karens Doodles challenge card

Hi everyone,Hope your all fine and not screaming at the footie...lol....looks like Spain are winning at the moment....not that I care...lol....right onto the card,Karens doodles is clean and simple,and the image I have used was the one I won on Karens Tag card challenge the other week...I came third and got to choose this gorgeous little fellow,his name is Herbert and I think he is the cutest...on C.I. this week it's all about moving.....well Herbert is moving,slowly I know...but he's still moving...lol...papers are PM as are the flowers and gems,coloured in with promarker and distress inks and then 3D glossed just to give his shell a nice sheen...The MS punched paper and scalloped circle are from my pal,AuntySue, I hope you like him as much as I do,enjoy the rest of your evening ladies,whatever your doing,take care,Hugs Janette.xxx
