Morning Girls and happy friday, hope it's been a good week for you.
Time for a new challenge at CraftyCatzand this week it's our fabulous and lovely team mate Dianne' turn to host, and she chose Monochrome....lots of inspiration on the blog so pop over if you need some.......

The team were given some images to play with, I chose this little sweetie posting her Christmas cards..well I think she is anyway..
As you can see it's a very simple card, NOT what I thought it was going to look like at all...you know when you have something in mind and it just does not work out...well...this is it...I'm really not happy with the end result and didn't have time to re make...so this is it...lol...
The touches of colour on the image are done with gunmetal, ultra fine glitter
Flower was roughly cut out by hand and scrunched and then layered up and edged with glitter again

leaves and snowflakes from my pals, Sue and Tilly..from last year actually...they also got the glitter treatment
swiss dot folder used on plain white card.
Thats it for another week, can you believe we are in September, our kids all go back to School on Tuesday, lots of sighs of relief I think...lol...Lucas and Kaleb are so ready to go back, Mia...not so much, she would rather stay home and do her own thing...lol....but she'll be fine, she is such a good girl she really is...as for me, I will miss having them around so much, it's been wonderful them all just popping in and out, and having Carla off has been a big bonus, but anyway, I can maybe get back to my other passion and get some projects going that I have been sat on for weeks...lol...hope you all have a fab day, thanks for coming over, take care, hugs Janette.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

There's absolutely nothing wrong with this Janette; it's gorgeous!!! You're the third blog I've visited so far today and each person has said the same about their card, and I felt like that about mine the other day. Must be something in the air, lol!! Sweet image and love your flower. xx

Fabulous card, love the gun metal glitter..really lovely.
The reason we had a frost hun, is I'm in New Zealand, coming up to the end of winter, heading for spring, just having a wee cold snap at the moment, but gorgeous days, thanks for your lovely comment you left me...
