CraftyCatz challenge #468.

Good morning, our last challenge of the month today with an optional theme chosen by our lovely Jac of favourite colour combo, we are happily sponsored by Morgans Art World who provided our images and you will find them all HERE
I used Daisy Hopwood
choosing a favourite colour combo for me is not easy, I like so many different ones, but went with this for this little beauty.
Coloured with Pro markers, Tim Holtz embossing folder and the stamps are from Swedish House crafts, another gift from my lovely friend Sue.
So that's it, I hope your all enjoying the heatwave....at last...supposed to get right up on the temp scale this weekend which is fine by me, enjoy while we can winters are long enough.
Do hope you can find time to come over and see what the girls created and join in with us. Have a lovely weekend all, and if you fancy a little treat today the half price digi sale is on its last day today at LOTV, I bagged some good bargains this morning thanks to Marianne for the info;

CraftyCatz post #467 ATG

Morning, hope your enjoying your week, at least the weather picked up abit that's always a plus.
This week we are sponsored by LBB stamps and they kindly provided the images for this weeks optional theme chosen by our lovely GINNY which is Circles, you can find the shop here
Here is my card using Dream Catcher #2

Started using plain grey card, stamped with a circle stamp a friend bought me recently...Cheers Sue....cut a few different size circles out and randomly placed them around the sponsor image which was coloured with Flex markers, cut the 'dream' sentiment from a sizzix set, the feathers are tied with wax cord and it all felt so flat and blah, so I got the paints out and had a good old flick about, added a few beads to the cord and felt alot better about it all, I personally was a hot mess, but the card looked better.
Well better than when I started it anyway, hope you agree.
Right well I am off to do some housework that needs sorting, we have had lots going on here so busy times but all looking fresher.
Hope you all have a lovely weekend.xx

On a more personal note, its my beautiful granddaughter Mia's 16th Birthday today, all of you that know me and my blog know how quickly the time seems to have gone, she has her last exam today also, but I am confident enough in her ability and sheer hard work, to know she will do well, so after the summer break she is off to sixth form college, can you even!!!!!!!!.me either!!!!!!!! so proud of her. She has always had the kindest of hearts and would do anything to help another, she is the one who stopped running a race to help a class mate who was less fortunate than her and couldn't keep up, she grabbed his hand and made sure he made the finish line, she will share her meal with you she will help you through a crisis and always be there for a friend, she is the one who will accept anyone, no matter what, she can see no wrong in people and she is a beautiful human being and I am left wondering at times, how did I get to be so lucky to have her in my family..
So, Happy birthday my sweet girl, you have given me far more than I could have ever hoped for, I couldn't love anyone more than I do you, forever and a day Mia...

Poly wreath made for a friend.

At last I can add this to my blog, I made it a while ago for a friend who has only just received it, I think she likes it.
Both myself and my friend {aunty Sue } bought these polystyrene hoops last year I think, I made one into one of those horrid Christmas ornament wreath', so decided to cover this in raffia, add lots of pretty flowers from The Ribbon Girl, the chippy bike was an eBay find, although I did layer a couple up to make sturdy, same with the Hello sign, I cut about six I think and glued together and the banner was bought from the works a million years ago, burlap ribbon eBay again.
I added a little bunch of flowers to the basket on the bike, looking at it all now I wonder if I should have put the flowers up the side of the wreath..!!!!!...who knows, maybe next time.
That's it again, I hope you like of can take some inspiration from this.
Enjoy your weekend.
