Hi everyone....

Hello, I have just popped on to post a card I made up for my wonderful granddaughter, its for her to take to Uni when she leaves soon...{sob sob}, she has done so well, but I knew she would, she has worked her socks off from the day she first went to school, she has the uni she wanted and is ready to go, I, on the other hand, am not...but thats life...{heaven above help me..}

I got this sentiment as a freebie years ago, it may even be in one of my pinterest files .

 Sorry the pic is abit 'off', best I can get. Ran the card through a CC folder, mounted both card and sentiment on some scraps I had, ribbon from stash and some sweet seed pearls randomly placed.

Inside view.
Thats all for now, sorry I am taking my time making anything of late, I am getting there but its been very hard I must confess, the tiredness is like nothing I have ever known  and the weary feeling, you have to fight it. Now I have lots to sort before winter comes, a few changes here and just the thought of clearing things and sorting out makes me feel like pulling the covers over my head, haha.
I hope you are all keeping well, I know a few friends are dealing with stuff, its not easy is it, but thats life.
A little cheeky one to make you smile

Right lovely people, I shall see you all soon.

That's a beautiful card for your beloved Mia, the sentiment is so lovely. It's wonderful that you have such a bond with your granddaughter- yes you will miss her but you know she will always come back and she knows you will always be there for her. I hope she has a wonderful time at Uni, she's earned her place.
Hope you feel stronger soon- just take it easy, look after yourself and don't try to do too much before your body is ready.
Big hugs

Congratulations to your Granddaughter Janette, as you say it has been worked hard for and well earned! The card is just beautifully elegant and the sentiment is perfect. I remember crying buckets when my only daughter went to Uni in England!! It took me months to lift my head, honestly! But you just have to let them have their time and hope they will be safe. I hope that tiredness lifts from you soon Janette. Get lots of vitamin c and sunlight and take your time! BTW my son is moving to a bigger house in the same estate so still only 5 minutes away :)

Such a sweet and thoughtful way to celebrate your granddaughter going off to Uni. I know you must be so proud of all her accomplishments. My Mom used to make us care packages with cards in them and they meant the world. Hope you're feeling better and will be on the mend soon, CoCo
