Morning lovely people, just nipping on to post a card which I don't really like that much but seeing as how I am stuck for something else to post (I am waiting on some decals I ordered, so angry about it...) but anyhow, I was trying to make an autunm look card, this is what I came up with.
Ok so I used a TH stencil with paste for the background panel, cut the leaves from some old inked up paper and used string for the bow, a few splats of gold ink and a nice little sentiment from this great book, TH of course. what a don't like much is the shaded bits round the edges, it now looks dirty to me but well, what you going to do :)) btw the sentiment I choose is 'there is beauty in simplicity.' Thought it was just right for this.
Side on you can see I tried to leave the leaves 'flowing' haha.
Also made this little hanger with my go to stencils, I love these

I love your card Janette, it's really beautiful- the leaves are fabulous and the added colour softens the background- it does NOT look dirty!! Your little plaque is so sweet, lovely stencils and gorgeous bow.
I do have a Cricut- but it's an old one, the kind you put cartridges in not the new type which I know absolutely nothing about. I used to use it a lot, especially when I was working - it was great for cutting big letters for display work and saved me a lot of time, but I hardly ever use these days... sorry no help at all!
Hope your supplies turn up soon!!

It's a beautiful card Janette and the shading around the edges draws your eye to those gorgeous leaves. The ribbon on the plaque is gorgeous, sounds like a bargain.
As for the Cricut, sorry I can't help.

Fabulous card love these leaves as for machine sorry dont have but alot of people seem to have them
Lovely card, most delightful colours used I prefer my silhouette cameo to any other machine x
I think your card looks lovely and perfect for autumn,
Love your hanger we all live in hope?
As for machines, I have a cutterbug which I have found out they dont make any more, I cant have an electric on as there's no point by or near my craft desk
Just GORgeous! I LOve the colours and design Janette. Think sometimes we are to hard on ourselves! I sometimes have niggles about a card and someone else loves it. FABulous hanger as always. LOve this ribbon.
I've an old type Silhouette Cameo, doesn't get much usage though, think I could have done with a degree to learn how to use it, so it just sits in the corner.
Sorry no help at all.

Beautiful card as always Janette and lovely plaque. Can't help with the machine. But,with all things machine I would ask myself how often would I use it and are the spare parts/refills or stuff like that expensive and easy to obtain.Love ya xx
Oh, I LOVE your Autumn leaves Jannette, so beautiful floating on your card looking like they are fluttering in the wind, love the background and inky edges..if they are a die cut leaf, then, I need that die..lol..gorgeous card and then your beautiful hanger, that bow is sensational, love the ribbon and flowers.. I crank my handle on my bigshot daily, but hope you find out what you need to, apparently pretty easy to use, you can search on youtube and there are really good videos to watch on all brands and styles...good luck..
Luv CHRISSYxx
Gorgeous! gorgeous! love them both Janette..I'm the same as Chris had the old cricut you put cartridges in but ended up not using it much so I sold it...so not much help I'm afraid..hugs Sue x
Wow so elegant, I did i manage to miss it
I hope you are well sweetheart :)
Love your card and gorgeous hanger...that ribbon is particularly gorgeous.xxx
This card is beautiful Janette! I love the color and the texture of the leaves. They're such a pretty way to welcome the season. I don't personally have a Cricut machine but everyone I know that has one loves theirs. I've thought about getting a small one that I can use to make labels. Hugs, CoCo
Oh Janette, you're always so hard on yourself - your card is beautiful! So elegantly autumny (is that a word?) and just right. You little hanger is great too. Have a lovely day, CarolG
I absolutely love all the texture on your Autumn card Janette!! I love your bargain ribbon, so perfect for your little hangers! In answer to your question. I had a scan n cut, well me and my daughter shared the cost. She has since moved out and I let her take it with her as I rarely used it. It was bought when I was doing lots of wedding invitations. The mats for it were expensive and never held the card securely plush you need to buy certain card that wouldn't leave residue. BUT it was a great machine and my daughter uses it daily to cut her stickers etc out for her wee business.
Your autumn leaves card is so pretty! Love your round sign with the sunflower stencil, too. Would like for you to link each week at the #HomeMatterParty every Thursday (9pm est) through Monday. Hope to see you there!
I think your card is beautiful and the edges are supposed to look distress (much better that dirty). Your hanger is gorgeous too, love the ribbon. As for an electronic machine, I have an older Silhouette Cameo. I really havenʻt done a lot with it until more recently. Since The Catʻs Pajamas has gone digital, Iʻve been kinda forced to learn to use it and I LOVE it! There has been a bit of a learning curve for me but then again Iʻm old. There are so many helpful tutorials online that you can always find help. Iʻm sure itʻs the same for a Circuit.
