A couple of photo's is all I have to show.

Hello everyone, I am so sorry I haven't posted in almost a month but well I have had this awful infection, two lots of antibiotics later still not doing my best, the reason I can't do any crafting is because my little craft room is actually the back porch on the house and its like a walk in fridge, seriously its bitter out there and I just can't manage to heat it, so thats my excuse. However, I did talk these pics. this morning, its colder out there than it looks, views from my home back and front.

In the distance over yonder stands the old Windmill, usually  clearly seen but the mist has covered it.

And out back

In the spring and summer its glorious, also when it snows but we get very little now, fingers crossed because the kids love it.

Tomorrow the family are travelling to bring Mia home for Christmas, they tried to get to her on saturday but had to turn back as the roads were like glass, no one can explain why the roads weren't gritted !!!!

One last pic, hope your not to bored by now, its my new garland on the fireplace, love it

Thanks for sticking it out to the end :)) I hope to get at least one creation on here before the big day, I miss my crafting soooo much, Mia will sort me out I am sure.

I hope you are all well and if not keep your chin up, after all, its what we do best !!!!!

Love to all, stay safe

Your fireplace and garland look beautiful and very cosy.Love the pics you have a lovely view -me and my daughter have just been looking at the hoar frost on the plants and spider webs as -2 here and had freezing fog since last night.Hope you start to feel better soon, all my craft stuff is in our bedroom but we never have heating on in there anyway but really been cold in there lately and not much room so a few months ago I emptied a cupboard and brought a load of craft stuff into the living room.

So sorry you're not feeling well Janette, hope those antibiotics kick in and do their job! I'm sure having Mia home will buck you up- a granddaughter is a wonderful tonic!
Beautiful photos, your fire place looks wonderful with it's beautiful new garland, so festive and cosy, like a Christmas card itself.
We have snow! Only a couple of inches but it's caused chaos- icy roads and pavements, schools closed (much to the joy of my (teacher)daughter and granddaughters! Marvin was a little bemused at first- what's all this cold white stuff in my garden- but he had a wonderful romp in the woods with all the other excited dogs- he's definitely a fan of snow!
Keep yourself warm and take care.

Sorry to hear you're still not well Janette. Let's hope Christmas and Mia will get you well. As for your photos, OH! The mist does look cold, don't blame you for not crafting in the cold. AS for your mantle, it is gorgeous. LOVE, LOVE the garland and on your mirror too. Keep warm.

Oh, Janette, Iʻm so sorry you havenʻt been feeling well. I personally think the couple years of minimal contact has made us more vulnerable (it took me 3 weeks to get back after a good old cold!). Your home is so warm and beautiful, just like you. And your views are absolutely breath taking.

Hope you're feeling a lot better now Janette.
I'm pleased the weather has warmed up, we had about 6" of snow for over a week.
Your Christmas garland looks stunning, I do love Christmas decorations.
