Last round up.

I can't believe I made it before the 'big day'. Things have been abit 'off' to say the least and this virus is sticking it out, but I am missing making and creating, so today I did a page in my new book. I have been collecting bits and bobs to start this one, bought a lovely Stamperia pad with lots of elements in and went from there. I am quite pleased with it, its a good start I think.

After fussy cutting all the elements out I just tore some paper, inked up the page and stamped some script, the TH sentiment strips still coming in handy as you can see and a good splash of white ink.

Thats that then, still can't believe I managed it :))
One last picture, my tree this year, its looking abit tired now I think, its had a good run and I swear every year I will buy a new one, but I just can't find one, at the right price {have you seen the money they want these days !!!} maybe next year, she still dresses up nice I think haha.

Why it was taken from this angle....who knows, kids !!!!1

Well thats it. I wish you all the best Christmas you can have, that joy will be with you and we can spare a moment to remember why we celebrate. I will be with my daughter, for the first time in more than forty years I won't be cooking up a storm, I am just not up to it and Carla is so excited to be doing it, as long as were all together I am fine with it.
Thanks for all the comments and friendships I have made from having this blog, it always amazes me how kind and giving blogland can be.
Have a blessed time.

You certainly havenʻt lost your creative touch, what a wonderful page you have created. As for your tree, she is beautiful!! Keep her going, she most certainly shares the reason we celebrate. Do enjoy your family and the holiday. Praying that peace, happiness, love and health fill 2023 for you and them!

Your journal page is beautiful Janette, the beauty of journals is that, unlike cards, you get to keep them for yourself. Looking forward to spending a b it of time on mine after the festivities.
Your Christmas tree looks gorgeous - I do love a nice big tree, don't put up loads of decs any more but always have a real tree- Marvin has been amazingly good with it- he hasn't stolen a single bauble!
I hope you have a wonderful Christmas with your lovely family and that you are soon fully recovered from that nasty virus.

A Stunning card! How you've managed to do all this fussy cutting is amazing Janette. FABulous colours and design. Seems to be a lot of virus's 'sticking it out' hope the boost of spending time with family goes towards making you feel a tad better.
A GORgeous tree! Long may she stand!
Must admit I've change trees over the years, but, still have ornaments on from 40 years ago. First thing my daughter will do when she arrives home tomorrow will be reminiscing over each and everyone.
Take care Janette have a Wonderful Christmas and Greeting for the New Year Too.
Hugs

Enjoy Christmas at your daughter's, we're spending Christmas Day at Laura's, it'll be fun with the twins and then I have a house full on Boxing Day.
Merry Christmas, Avril xx

Oh your new journal is off to a great start Janette! What a gorgeous scene you have created and well worth the fussy cutting. I absolutely love your tree Janette. It's so bushy and beautifully decorated. Be sure and keep that for another few years. Yes the price of some trees....£200 and more, seriously!! I hope you had a lovely Christmas with your daughter, you definitely deserve to have a break from all the cooking. I find it overwhelming now too and exhausting lol. Hope the year ahead is a wonderful one for you and the family xxx
