Bad weather leads to crafting times.....

Has this been the worse July ever, seriously shocking weather, too much rain here and the rest of Europe are melting and as for Greece, heart breaking isn't it...

I hope your safe wherever you may be.

***********************************

So, its rained so much I went in to have a play with some new dies I bought recently, they are from Temu, Gasp !!!!! I have heard all the stuff, but fingers crossed so far so good and the stuff is fine as far as I am concerned.

I made some little gift bags, its something we always need and these are just big enough to hold small gifts or even sweets if that's what you fancy. Nothing special, just the ordinary fold up and gather the sides and your done.

First up, can you spot whats missing....I saw it and thought oh nooo, so I had to pry the belt off and add the hole things, you know, the name escapes me but the next pic will show.

The papers are from a book of 12x12 from the Range, the dies are Temu, the handmade paper I used for the belt and handles was from a friend who sent me a box of gorgeous papers.

This one is from the box, never had a paper that feels like this one, its so beautiful, has a linen like texture but feels like material.

Thats it for today, hope you like, if you like making gift bags etc; then please go over to my friend Pinky, she has more gift ideas than you can imagine and even does little video's to help you out.

Thanks so much if you got this far, have a good week. xxx

Hasn't it been awful Janette? All over the world, from floods to fires, just terrible and so sad for the people involved.
As for your pretty gift bags, I love the buckles and straps on each one. So clever. Glad you tried Temu, it all sounded too good to be true to me, so glad to have your endorsement. Great dies.

OMGoodness Janette these gift bags are amazing, I have been thinking about Temu, from what I've seen on youtube they seem pretty good value,
besides we need to make every thing count these days and more for less is always a good thing in my book.

Have a wonderful rest of the week
hugs Bridget :) x

Your gift bags are gorgeous Janette, so elegant and stylish. Love the belts and buckles and those beautiful papers. Seems wrong to have to be hiding indoors for days on end in the summer, I'm hoping August will be better...
The weather patterns worldwide are getting more and more extreme, it's very frightening and traumatic for anyone unlucky enough to be caught up in it. I know we have heatwaves and downpours here but no where near as severe as in some other parts of the world, I can't bear to think about temperatures of 48 degrees and higher!

Gorgeous, Janette! Your gift bags are actually gifts themselves. I love all those details. I hope your weather straightens out. I really canʻt complain, we have had a fair amount of rain, but much of it at night and it just makes the flowers more beautiful.
