Good morning lovelies, hope you had a good week and are looking forward to a nice weekend.
I have had a week of Doctors visits and more meds I have to now take....oh the troubles of getting older....not to worry, I am still here and honestly I am pretty glad, especially since the sun is shining and we are ...fingers crossed...in for a few more days of good weather...yay!!!!!!
Okay, I am here with a tag for a gift for Mia' upcoming 21st. in all honesty I am not sure it will get used, I may send for something 'better, we will see.
Cut two tag shapes and bonded together, inked up and then gold foil rubbed here and there, a few splashes of ink and a couple strips of that gorgeous printed washie tape and I painted the '21' black and added gold to them also. For the top I threaded some suede cord through. The back has a pocket like the one I made recently.
That's it but I don't know....anyway, next up is a photo of my two eldest grandsons, Lucas and Kaleb when they first started playing football for the school team..
They were so cute, and became very dedicated to the team, they played many games and won so many trophies, I am always proud of these boys, well now they are young men of course, they even travelled to Barcelona this year for a weeks footie there and had such a great time. Phew, long story short, they played there very last game last week for the under 18 team, mixed emotions I think, but here they are taking a moment during the event.
They are about to start a new chapter of Uni and all that, but I feel so very lucky to have them in my life, they really are good lads, never brought a moments trouble to there parents door and are always happy to help. I still see two little tikes when I look at them hahaha, but now I have to look up instead of down to see them, haha, happy days.
Thanks for letting me share this with you, have a wonderful day.

Oh Janette, the joys of getting older! I hope your new meds help, not nice to have to keep taking stuff but if it makes you feel better it's worth it.
The tag you made for Mia is gorgeous, I'm sure she would love it.
Those cute little lads have certainly grown and sound like young men any grandma would be proud of. Funny how we still the small child even when the 'grown up' version is towering over us!
Send some of that sunshine down here- it's been raining for days!

Despite a week filled with doctor's visits, it's wonderful to hear you're enjoying the sunshine and staying positive. Your tag for Mia's 21st is beautifully crafted with its gold foil, ink splashes, and suede cord—I'm sure it will be a cherished keepsake whether it gets used or not.
The story about your grandsons, Lucas and Kaleb, is heartwarming. It's amazing to see how they've grown from dedicated young footballers to impressive young men heading off to university, and your pride in them shines through so clearly.
Sometimes sunshine is the best medicine, honestly. That and your wonderful family, it's just so mind boggling how fast the time flies. Your tag is gorgeous, I love all the gold you have been using. This is beautiful and so sophisticated, perfect for Mia.
