Need your opinions please...

Hi there, hope your week has been fine, to all those suffering floods and horrific storms, I hope you and yours are all safe.

I just made this Christmas card, its quite a simple one, the image is from a pack of rub on transfers I bought recently and they are gorgeous, layered it on gold mirror card and added gold twine and some ribbon, the sentiment is a die I have had forever and it was from either Amazon or ebay, who knows, sorry about that.

Problem is, should I splash it or leave as is, I can't decide and if I splash, gold or black, what do you think...........

Side views of the twine, I mean it won't be controlled so hopefully it will sit better when its been in the envelope....

Now these two candles were asking to be 'done up' The small one is actually from Dunelm, its scented with Sicilian lemon verbena, its gorgeous, I use the sprays in the house, it the only thing that doesn't kill me, and the house smells delish. The bigger one is just one from a pack I bought and put in this glass, then added these transfers, they are like three D and look so pretty, I tell you these things are going to be used, alot.

So thats all for now, I hope you all have a lovely weekend, we have been having some sunny days, it makes all the difference in the world.

Thanks so much for any comments you may leave, always grateful for those.

Hi Janette and thank you for the visit. Your card is absolutely beautiful and TBH if it was me (with bad experiences of splattering-must practise more!) I would leave as is. Love the sentiment font and the lemon verbena candle sounds lovely, and love the transfers too.

Gorgeous card and candles Janette, I would be afraid to splatter, and I splatter everything, but if you cover with little bits of paper the sticker and sentiment,, then you could use a little bit of gold just up the top and down the bottom..top right corner to left corner, maybe..but it is beautiful on its own..I have just ordered rub on's, never used them before so should be fun..have a great weekend..

That is a gorgeous rub on and a really beautiful CAS Christmas card with the addition of the ribbon and gold bakers twine.

The card is beautiful just as it is- anyway I wouldn't dare try to splatter a finished card- I know I would get big blobs just where I didn't want them!
the candles look gorgeous too- I love scented candles (even though they often make me sneeze my head off - bloomin' allergies!
Have a lovely weekend.

Your card is stunning and I love the fresh white background. I am not a good splatterer at all and would mess it up in no time but maybe if you were tempted, you could use glue and some of that gold stuff that sticks to the glue. Can't remember the name of it lol.

I don't think I would splatter, it is beautiful and elegant just as it is. The candles sound lush, and look gorgeous.
