Morning lovely people, I hope the sunshine is bringing joy to your life, nothing like it this time of year, heaven knows we deserve it don't we...
Right then, I had a play with one of my many round boards. I painted it black, then added some rope to the back and guess what, the staples came through, so...I hammered them as much as possible then got the stencil paste out, found this lovely stencil, all those leaves climbing about and it did the trick. I then added some gold paste to it, not bowled over by it, so added a mdf 'smile' to it, still was not right, last thing was another stencil in gold, after all that, I splashed, yes I did, I am still not really sure but its done.
Let me know what you really think, did I ruin it with the splashes I wonder.....

I'm definitely enjoying the sunshine Janette- long may it last! It does seem strange having to water plants this early in the year though! Our weather patterns have changed a lot!
Gorgeous project, as Ginny said it looks so elegant in the black and gold...and I think you were VERY brave to splash it, I don't think I would have dared!!! You were right though, it looks fabulous.
