Morning, I hope all is well for you and yours and your getting a fair share of the sunshine..
I made this yesterday for a friend, they are easily done and really don't take long, it takes more time waiting for the paint to dry.
This is how it started
Then lets get busy tarting it up !!!
The usual, circle wooden plate, for want of a better word, taped off and painted with blackboard paint, because it was what I had, then added the chippy words which I bought a whole lot of from the Works many moons ago, painted that black too and waited for it to dry, ( it didn't take long I am dramatic...)
Then added suede cord to hang and decided to put some of it across the the bit where the colours break, like this
I think it looks more 'finished'.
Then added some wired ribbon, I love this combo, I bought them together so long ago and they never fail me, just love them.
Think thats all again. I am off to get my bedding out, to good to miss and then I have a bit of housework and then, I am off out to read for awhile.

Oh wow Janette this is just wonderful. Makes a real statement. Honestly looks like it would not look out of place in a high end shop!!
Oh I missed this one kind of glad as it was such a lovely surprise and both Rory and myself love it
