Card time.

Morning all, I hope you are  all well and enjoying the brief warm spell again.

*****************************

I had this calendar a couple of years ago, I loved the images so couldn't bin it when the time came, its been sat waiting until the other day, saw this page and thought that would make a sweet card, so that's what I did.

Its a big size as I wanted to use the whole page, I know its a bit of a cheat, but it was to nice to throw away. Not put a sentiment on yet, it even has its own splashes.....you know I love my splashes :))

So, what do you think was it worth keeping....I think so.

Yesterday I was back at the hospital, more stuff I have to go through, honestly, I will be glad when this year is out and I am saying Happy New Year...I hope...will let you know....

Thanks so much for being here. Have the best weekend. xxx

I agree Janette, much too pretty to throw away it makes a beautiful card, well done for using it. I have a huge stash of 'too good to throw away' stuff squirrelled away (out of hubby's sight!) - one day I will make something with it....
Lovely warm sunshine here today- son and his family camping this weekend so hope it stays this good!

Such a beautiful floral image Janette.

I'm with you on the year as a whole, I know we shouldn't wish time away but the constant medical merrygoround can be so debilitating.

That image was absolutely meant to find its way into something beautiful—what a lovely transformation from calendar page to card art. The way it fills the space with warmth and charm, especially those soft splashes and that sweet little bee, adds such personality. Definitely a keeper, and such a clever use of materials that might’ve otherwise gone unnoticed. You’ve given it a second life, and it’s shining!

Recycling at it's best Janette and would be a shape to bin such a beauty! I hope all went well at hospital. Our lives become scheduled around appointments which is very hard to adapt to!

Definitely too beautiful to throw, it makes a gorgeous card. I hope your hospital visits are positive for you and things are well. We have hospital visits with hubby too. Such a necessary pain in the proverbial, as they say. Hugs x
