Hi everyone, hope your getting your fair share of the sun, we are and its red hot, yesterday the temp in my little sun trap of a garden hit past 100% Honestly thats hot for us don't you agree......

OK then, a quick card, just inked up a piece of white card, put some script on and thought I would add this gorgeous Butterfly I had, I felt it needed abit of something under the wings, so, being clever, I got my fan brush and some black ink and just lightly touched under each side...it was awful, honestly awful. The Butterfly came off while I searched for a cover up or though this in the bin. I die cut this happy birthday out....when I say 'die cut' I mean I stood there trying my best to get the darned thing to work and the the handle was in my hand, literally not attached anymore to the machine, hahaha, well it all adds to the story I suppose, it will keep working for now...
Layered onto black card and the two little strips across the top are offcuts, silly not to use.
Rubbed some gold around the edges and that's about it.
Here's a pic of the thermometer in my garden, I tell you it was a tad to hot for me even under the brolly, (honestly some people will moan about anything hahaha.)

It's definitely toooooo hot for us we definitely aren't used to these temperatures!!! Fabulous card and background Janette, great save and love how you used the tine offcuts very clever idea-must remember that (yer right lol)

Wow that was HOT! Thought it was warm enough here in the 80s! Lovely today, very warm outside but comfortable to sit in the shade as there's a bit of breeze, a perfect summer day.
Your card is gorgeous, despite the badly behaved butterfly's attempts at sabotage! Fabulous stamps and background the bold die cut sentiment works beautifully.

Certainly is hot Janette, while I like summer today is a tad ott for me.
Nice vintage feel to this one and the pop of white of the sentiment really makes it pop.

I'm moaning with you Janette lol. I can't stick t when it's too hot and my stomach soon lets me know :( I absolutely love your card and you did a great cover up job! I still use my die cutting machine with a broken handle lol but it can be hard work!!

A great card Janette, even if it wasn't what you'd originally intended. Yes that's definitely hot - I struggle with the heat, fortunately we haven't had it that hot.
