Good morning, are we all well, hope so. This morning the weather is glorious, the skies are blue and its as fresh as a daisy out there, I love these kind of days.
OK, so ages ago I decided to have a play around and use up some papers I had.......truely, I bought far to many of these, I do love them though........
I made this kind of a wallet, you know lots of folds and pages where you can put stuff but as I said its not finished, however, I am showing because I can't craft much right now.
In no particular order as you can see....sorry my mind is all over the place hahaha.
The bones of it are made from one piece of A4 card folded into three, then you can add as many pages as you wish. Some are up folds some are not. I did make a belly band, because if you put anything else in it will need help closing. I added some gold wax here and there, some stamping and some ink blots. I feel quite bad I didn't add anything else yet, I really think I just wanted to 'make' something, sure you know what I mean. Thats it, I am trying to make the odd Christmas card this week, the time is now flying.
I should think by now you will have heard that Ginny lost her fight and sadly passed. We have all been extremely upset, she was such a nice, funny at times, person. I hope she will be remembered with a smile as well as a tear or two.
Thats all for now, happy days all.

Hi Janette, hope you are feeling well today- the sunshine does wonders in lifting our spirits and making us feel better.
Love your little folded wallet- the papers are gorgeous, no wonder you bought too many :) It's frustrating when we want to create something and are not well enough to do it- but this will still be there waiting for your finishing touches when you are stronger...and I look forward to seeing it.
That's a lovely tribute to Ginny, I did shed a tear or two.
Take care.

Beautiful folded wallet and love those fabulous papers. We woke up to sunshine too this morning which quickly turned into heavy rain almost all day!!! So sad to hear about Ginny, I also remember her from Do Crafts too, take care of yourself Janette and hope to see you back crafting soon.

Janette I can see why you love those papers and your project is just wonderful! I am sure it will be added to a different stages. I am hoping you are keeping your chin up and thinking positive thoughts as I am doing for you over here. You are never out of my mind. I was sorry to hear about your friend Ginny. Even though we don't get to meet people we still hold them as dear friends and I can understand your loss. But if Ginny is smiling down you better be behaving! Sending lots of hugs.

Your folded wallet design has such a clever structure, and the papers you chose really shine in this format. The touches of gold wax and stamping add a lovely richness, even at this unfinished stage. It feels like a project full of potential, waiting for those final details when you are able. I was touched by your words about Ginny, a heartfelt tribute that captures both the sadness and the joy of remembering her. Sending love and prayers to you and Ginny's family during this time.
Beautiful, yes I know we buy what we like sometimes too much, and keep it for years, same here,
Hope you are keeping ok,
