Good morning, hope you are all well and enjoying the Bank holiday sunshine, very unusual isn't it, I mean every Bank holiday ever is known for bad weather, lets make the most of it. :))
OK, so I made this tag from one I saw on my travels, please don't ask where, I am hopeless. Its made from four strips of paper, so great for using up old pieces. You just cross them over to create the shape and all those little pockets, I filled mine up with anything I could put my hands on just to see if it worked out, I think I like this idea and given more time it could be a real beauty.
It is abit wonky at the bottom but its a first try, I will fix that next time...I hope...
Next up is a card I began making awhile back but never finished.
I die cut the pattern in the paper from a TH die I bought forever ago,, love his stuff it last forever and never fails me.
All the bits and bobs are from books of ephemera I keep on collecting and then forget I have so time to get cracking I thought. I layered it up on some black card to make it pop abit.
Side on, not added anything inside yet but you never know, or it may end up in my scrapbook.
Thats about it for now.

Your woven tag has such a fun, scrappy charm with all those little pockets filled up, and I enjoy how the crossed strips create a playful structure that makes the whole piece feel lively, while your layered card with the die cut pattern, the bold black mat, and the mix of ephemera comes together beautifully to give your design a strong focal point and a lovely vintage touch.
I love that tag with all the pockets Janette and will have to try one for one or all of my folios!! Beautifully decorated too.
Your card is just gorgeous. Love the background die and how you all all your ephemera! I am only beginning to get some of those books. So handy to finish things off.

The tag looks fabulous Janette, love the Desi and a perfect way to use and showcase all the little bits of ephemera. Love the card, I've got those dies and haven't used them for ages, thanks for the nudge.
Great news on the results, such a relief for you all, thinking of you and hoping for more positive results. Avril xx
Hi Janette, nearly missed this treat! hasn't appeared on my reading list again!! So annoying that this keeps happening especially as it's so haphazard, sometimes new posts appear immediately, sometimes days later and some not at all!
Love that tag, such a clever idea and it looks fabulous with all those little pockets and the ephemera. The card is gorgeous too, such a lovely design with the dies and the layered ephemera...and perfect colours.
Best of all is your good news, couldn't be happier for you- will definitely be thinking of you and hoping for more good news in the future.

Can't believe I missed this post, fabulous tag with all the pockets and tags, fabulous card too, great design, love all the ephemera, Bee and die-cut corners-thank you for the reminder I have this die-somewhere. Thank you for your comment, I did end up in hospital last time it happened only because I fractured a rib when I fell-no medication -it was just bed rest and plenty of fluids? Brilliant health news on your part though-onwards and upwards, will be thinking of you and fingers crossed more good good results.

Hi Janette, firstly thank you for coming by my blog again and for the lovely, the kindness is always appreciated. Also, I love your tag and card! I only ever think of tags as decorations on cards - I really must try to widen my horizons and try something like your fabulous tag! Love all the dimension on your card and your colour combo is stunning. Sorry to hear you have been having health worries but glad to hear you have had some good news. Sarah
Lovely tag and card
thanks for the update sorry I have not been in touch, 6 weeks of the flu, never had anything so awful, it knocked both of us off our feet, I missed the CT scan on my heart and no idea when they are ging to get another appointment. I am so pleased at the good news, I had tears in my eyes when I read it, keeping you in my thoughts for the other problem.
Take care and dont go over doing it in this heat.
So sorry I missed this post during my enforced absence, but pleased I'ver caught up and can you some positive vibes, keep your chin up.
