Crafty Catz Challenge card

This fab new challenge blog has it's first challenge this week with a colour combo,Brown,Green and Blue.....plus an optional charm if it takes your fancy....please go along and have a look and join in the fun,they have a lovely prize for the winner and the top five will also get a badge for there blog.....think thats right,but hey,go see for yourselves......lol.....now to my card,have had this image a while now from a swap,unfortunately it has no name etc; so I don't know who's it is,but would be interested to know......coloured in using various water colour pencils,whispers and dovecraft markers{thanks kirsty}the little gems in the center of the flowers are from my Grandaughter,a freebie with a kids mag....can you believe that,but I have her well trained,she knew they were for me....lol....flower from my usual woodware punch and the papers all from My minds Eye,Bohemia....and I am also sad to say that it's getting to the last of these papers,they have been a delight to use,and I can't even remember where or when I bought them,must keep my eyes peeled for more.The little scalloped edges have been done using tiny punched out hearts......let me tell you,that was hard work......but I was happy with the result,I hope you like it and would love to hear your comments,so don't be shy,SAY SOMETHING......lol......there is an echo in here.....lol....bye for now and take care,hugs Janette.x

Play day card....

Made this out of sheer boredom last night.....well you can't just sit there and 'veg out' can you....thats my excuse anyway......thought I'd have a change so stamped some card up with the little flowers and then embossed it and the big flower was cut out by hand,hope it looks ok......inked the edges with chestnut chalk and there you have it......hope you like it but you can tell me if you don't....I can stand it.Hope your all having a good week,tomorrow my Daughter starts her teaching course,well guess who's helping out with the little ones....YESSSS,that would be me.....lol....it'll be fine......I keep telling myself that.....but I want her to finish her degree more than anything so it's all good.....take care my friends and please let me know if you've been here,love to hear from you,hugs Janette.xx

Friendship Card Swap..

We do this each month on the DC forum,Carol Jenks runs it....{really well I might add}it's a nice way of getting to know people and maybe making new friends.This one went to a friend,MargaretD,we seem to get paired up alot at the moment,which is also fine,I love this little image,it comes in handy for so many occasions and I know Margaret will love it too.I must say how sorry I am for the quality of the picture,I am doing battle with my scanner and I am determined to win....lol....well at least every now and then,my digi cam is also 'on the blink'.....anyway after a few attempts this was the best one.....I know.....lol....cheek of the thing.....lol...well,I hope your all doing well and had a good week-end,at least we have'nt had to put up with any rain,well not for a few days anyway....sure it will catch up with us....lol....in the mean time,take care,hugs Janette.x

'Big Aud's' Tilda Challenge..

Afternoon everyone,hope your all enjoying your week-end.....very quiet for me so far...everyone busy getting ready for tomorrow when the children go back to school...seven weeks this time.....can just imagine the sighs of relief....lol.....right then,down to my card.....Tilda challenge over at the do-crafts forum,this week hosted by a lovely lady Audrey....Pink and Red were the colours,2 flowers,a bow and lace,oh and flowery paper....oh dear....didn't have any lace...and no paper that was just red and pink...so I improvised abit and made some....not great,I know,but best I could do....I hope you like.....do you think it looks abit 'Valentine'..ish......lol....mmmm....one for a very deep box me thinks..Thanks so much for stopping by,enjoy whats left of the week-end and take care,hugs Janette.x

Afternoon all,made this one for the Tilda challenge"Seasons"on the DC forum this week it is 'Judie's' turn and she asked us to choose any season,and add...ribbons,sparkle,brads and a sentiment,which I think I've covered....and here is my finished result,sorry that the pic; is not that brilliant and I think it looks abit screw-wiff....but you can get the general idea...lol.....hope your all having some of this lovely sunshine today,make the most of it girls,tomorrow is another day as they say....lol...well I must dash as am in the middle of another card and also have to prepar myself for minding my Grandchildren this evening.....more crafting me thinks...they love it.....lucky for me,have a fab week-end,hugs Janette.x

Just a little challenge card today,it's the Tilda challenge from do-crafts forum,Incy{Kay}is running this weeks challenge and the theme was 'this is me'......well the only image I could come up with was this one,as I do love my garden and the flowers....however if I could have a found an image of Tilda in a sheer panic,over anything....lol....it would have been more realistic.....not to worry,she does look a bit bewildered so that will also do....lol.....hope you are all enjoying the week-end weather....are'nt we lucky,make the best of it while it lasts,have a fab day,hugs Janette.x

Two calendar pages for july and august for the swap we do on Do-crafts forum,just love these images from my good friend aunty sue,the background paper on the july page is also from Sue,she spoils me rotten....lol......water coloured using my old favs;Derwent pencils,and the wallet which they will travel in is also one of Sue's images and papers....I told you she spoils me....where would we be without good friends....now I'm off to make something for another swap,but this time the goodies are from Shree.....who surprised me yesterday with a fab wallet full of images and yummy flowers.....how did she know I was getting desperate for flowers.....lol.....thanks for dropping by and take care,hugs Janette.x

W.O.J. challenge 38

This is my card for the challenge this week over at W.O.J. the DT cards are just gorgeous so pop over and have a little looky....lol.....image on mine was from my friend aunty sueas was the lovely oval this sweet girl is mounted on,the die-cut was also from a friend,Anne,she sent me alot of these and I adore them on so many things,papers are a mix of Laura Ashley and Dovecraft.....Kate Knight I think.....flowers are from stash and Butterfly I just cut from paper,coloured in using water colour pencils....think that covers it.....I hope you like my card.....now c'mon ladies....tell the truth...you know you want to....lol....hope your all having a fab Saturday afternoon,am off to do some crafting,well the Wedding is only 2weeks away now and still have some bits to do....glad it's a small affair now....thanks for dropping by,please come back,hate wittering on to myself all the time,hugs Janette.x

Tilda challenge

This was done for the Tilda challenge over at do-crafts,any layout was fine,but it had to be black and yellow,think it turned out ok,sorry for being so late with this but as always,just did'nt have time,have lots of pics to put on when I can,but to make matters worse I am having probs with pc...all the time....can't seem to unscramble all my files where I keep my pics.....need a computer wizard I think....in the mean time I will just continue to sort it slowly but surely.....never a good sign for me....lol.....by the way,we all had a great time at my Daughters 30th Birthday party on Saturday night,how we managed to pull it off without her knowing is still beyond me,she was totally amazed and everyone was unbelievably generous...a good time was had by all.....now that just leaves the wedding and bobs your uncle as they say......25th July is the big day....omg....so much to do still....will try and keep you all in touch......big hugs for stopping by and please leave me a comment so I can come see you....xxx

Hi all,made this folder for my friend aunty sue,who had a Birthday yesterday{Sunday}she had admired the one's I'd made before so it was the obvious thing really,she had a fab day and even her son made her a gorgeous card.....how lucky is she....lol......glad you liked it Sue.xx

Penny Black challenge card for do-crafts forum...

Hi All,sorry I have'nt been around for a day or so,thought I'd get more time to myself with the children being off School.....it was'nt really to be...lol....anyway,just had a chance to make this one for the do-crafts forum,colours were blue,brown and cream also 3,2,1 of either flowers papers or brads....as you can see I did,3 flowers,2 Papers and 1 brad,well it's a gem really but still...lol....really must try and get some crafting done,so many challenges going on,it makes me restless...lol....hopefully,do some tonight...thanks for dropping by and I love any comments you leave for me good or bad,plus then I can come visit you...take care,hugs Janette.x
