A bit of crafty stuff.

 

Good morning I hope your all enjoying a nice, chilled Sunday, just had my bacon and egg butty so I am ready for anything...as they say..

I am up to all kinds of things but thought I would share these before they get so lost never to be seen again.

Its Teddy Bo time, I still love these images, coloured with flex markers, the background is made up of a few random stamps and thought I would try be abit more colourful.

Then last week I made a couple more tags, and just could not be bothered blogging them at all, I feel I am getting rather lazy, but hey!!!!

 

Sadly the colour just didn't show up, its really quite nice, its one I made on the gel plate but you will hopefully believe me.I added silver foil in bits and bobs and I used various dies and stamped a sentiment.

This one I made simply because I felt 'that way out' that day and I had these strip sentiment and some old DP which all made sense on the day.:)

Now for something abit different, I made this just to keep my hands going, its lovely Shetland wool from Yorkshire trading, very soft and I wanted to try it out. Of course I had to add fringe, I do love fringing. Its been hand washed and naturally dried and its kept its shape, all good.

And what I should have added is it is a crochet item..{.thanks Carol I should have said something.xx}

Thats it for now, I am trying to get round to things as I go, been getting a few things sorted that were getting on top of me, I think I might get used to doing things when i please. Have a lovely day and thankyou so much for coming and having a look round.xx

Tag time.

 

I know I am taking a break but this has been on my desk for a week, never get round to finishing and just kept adding colour here and there, well I had to back away and this is the finished item. I read this morning that the Tagit tuesday have a theme this week of anything with wings..perfect I hope.

Started with white corrigated card and a piece of mountboard cut to shape and just began adding to it, craft stones, metal gears, chippy glasses, TH charm, the wings are from a set I had in my stash for ages and the bolt thats screws through to hold the chain is also a TH most from stash, then the painting began, whatever I added I wasn't happy, so I let it dry and remembered my cream chalks and got the blue-ish look from those, then finally sprayed it with Crafters Companion varnish , I use it alot it jst fixes everything it also makes for a more rigid finish.PHEW....sorry...:)

There we go, I have another one but I will sort tomorrow don't want to bore you to death in one go. Hope your all well, the lockdown is easing from today, schools are going back etc, lets hope for the best. God knows I need to go shop, and I don't mean food...can't wait.

Good morning, this is my last post for CraftyCatz for a while.

I was about to step down as I feel at odds about everything just lately, I'm not enjoying things like I once did, its all becoming 'hard work' if that makes sense, anyways, my good friend and boss lady Sue, had a hissy fit and now I am taking a 'break', haha , its ok she knows I love her to bits and we really are real life friends...and the girls on the team are the most wonderful bunch, they support each other all the time, I am sure the old saying, 'be the woman who straightens another womans crown', applies to this lot I really am so I would miss them too much. So break it is, not from all blogging I will be here and coming to see you as per. PHEW!!!!!!

My card was made for a friend and she has it now so ok to show.

The image is a Mo,you can find the shop HERE , it's one of a few I bought from a GV I got for my birthday from my wonderful friend.

Image coloured with promarkers and cut with oval die. The back panel was cut with TH die set, a few paint splashs were added behind the panel and the little sentiment stamp I had in a set. Inside I just added a happy birthday die and again splashed with paint
