When the postman handed this package to me I had no clue as to what it was, then I spotted the name and address of sender, all the way from NZ, my friend Chrissy sent me a birthday gift, she was surprised it actually arrived very early, ( rare for postal services isn't it ) I was gobsmacked totally, look at this work of art.
and one of the inside
And this sweet card, don't worry Chrissy I lifted the wings off the pretty butterfly, she got smushed on her travels..Question, do you ever wonder if people do that to your handmade cards, I do, I mean most stuff gets flattened unless you box it up of course...Just wondering haha
I am so surprised and happy at the thought behind this, thanks so much my lovely friend, it means more than you can imagine.
I am leaving them on show until my birthday at least, my first card and gift...
Well thats it, and of course this is the first post of the year for me, I have been abit bogged down with no mojo at all to speak of, fingers crossed it will work out.

How lucky are you? To see first hand one of the marvellous Chrissy's work. I've been looking back and enjoying yours too, I've been bad with no visiting for a while. Hope you're feeling better today Janette. Take care.

Oh my Janette, what a wonderful gift and card. The notebook is amazing, Chrissy definitely has more than her fair share of talent! The card is beautiful and survived the journey very well!
Lovely to see a post from you, hope you feel more like crafting again soon, maybe when the weather is better and the days are brighter Mr Mojo will return. Already there are signs of spring, buds and bulbs beginning to sprout and we have Blue-tits in the nesting box, they've been very busy lately!

What a wonderful gift and card Janette. That notebook is absolutely stunning. I think maybe the weather has a lot to do with mojo because I'm with you on that mine has gone on a winter break I think! I'm just glad the wind has stopped because one side of our garden has lost it's fence! Take care and hugs xxx
I'm so happy you fluffed butterfly's wings, I knew she would need fluffing and glad you like your notebook..it's amazing what you can make a cardboard box flap look like...for non card makers I suggest a fluff up..
Luv CHRISSYxx
Oh my gosh what an amazing piece of art to get in the mail. WOWZA.
I am with you, if I get a card in the mail I look to see if something needs a bit of fluffing. :)

Oh what what an amazing gift Janette. Chrissy is a magician when it comes to these things!! The card is a real beauty too and hopefully she has inspired you to get some crafting done!! I do wonder the same myself about flowers and butterflies etc. We put so much effort into making them stand proud and the postie has other ideas lol.

A very beautiful gift for a beautiful lady! I'm sure Chrissy knows how much you appreciate it which means so much to all us makers, right? Perhaps her magic will kick start that missing mojo. Hope you are otherwise feeling better and as always thanks so much for your visits, they certainly brighten my day!❤️
What a Beautiful gift it reminds me of the little box you sent me which i still have after many years which holds some of my special chip board. Wishing a wonderful day. That year went far to fast
