More quickie Christmas cards.

Morning all, I hope your all well and staying warm, its been really cold last few days hasn't it, but then again it is November so why the surprise I wonder, hahaha.

Right, onto the cards, ran some card through the big shot with a lovely Crafters Companion folder which a kind crafter once sent me. Then grabbed these sweet little stickers and placed onto red card cut into circles, added a branch or two with touches of white ink, the merry Christmas is from a pack I bought , I like these because they are sturdy and you can use in the plain wood or colour them up and your done.

Placed onto red cardstock and then white card, they do have slight differences but so cute.

Next up is a simple die cut tree backed with gold card and edged with same and deckle edged, I also have a small piece over so made a tag to match., Sorry about the photo, I stood it on a box in my room and then found I couldn't cut it down, thems the breaks as they say.

The sentiment is from a set I bought which really doesn't cut that well, abit sad really but thats what you get sometimes don't you. The gold string I bought on a day out with my girls last weekend, its a really big ball on a gorgeous little woodern dolly, it cost a fiver which I think was great value, think it was TKMAX, I had a real nice afternoon out, spent more than I should, like you do, got some lovely bits and bobs for Christmas gifts, went for lunch and by the time I got home was exhausted but it was so good, of course Mia says we should do it again next week Nan .....errmmmm, can I wait a week or two first please, hahah

Thats all for today I think, I am hoping to get a few more things done later today and I have a few envelopes to make too, its all go, hahaha, how I ever got time to work I'll never know !!!!!!

All beautiful card and love the stickers, and wooden sentiments. It has been really cold we seem to have missed out Autumn altogether and three quarters of Summer!!! Good to hear you enjoyed a day out-I am going out with both Granddaughters next week for coffee and something to eat even maybe cake lol.

Beautiful cards Janette, the first two have such pretty images, the wooden sentiments look great, I have some of these and prefer them uncoloured! Second card is very elegant, gold and white always looks classy!
Glad you had a nice shop with Mia, a real treat to spend some time with your granddaughter- even if it did wear you out!
Went to a Christmas food and craft show today with my sister and brother, lovely to look at all the goods and produce on offer even if we didn't buy very much. xx

Both of your Christmas cards are so pretty. Love the stickers. I just started last night going through my Christmas stamps and supplies to see what to create this year. That seems to take the longest just trying to figure out what to make.
We have been having alot of rain here in Indiana and the weather is turning cold. Hoping to get the Christmas Tree up soon.
Hope you have a nice weekend.

Your Christmas cards are delightful, Janette! The textured card and sweet stickers on the first one are charming, and the gold and white combination on the second card is so elegant. It sounds like you had a wonderful time shopping with Mia.

Janette, Blogger won't let me follow blogs either. Glad you told me; I thought it was just me having trouble.

Two gorgeous designs Janette. I am loving the little girl one on top. The red is gorgeous against the embossing. Gold trees are always a hit at Christmas and yes, some dies, even the expensive ones, just don't cut unless you fath about with the mats!! I love TK Max for craft stuff. If you are lucky you can get something different and very reasonable. Good find with the gold cord.
