CraftyCatz challenge #495 ATG

Good morning, last one of February but at least we get an extra day to play with this year so thats good.

Our challenge this week is hosted by myself and I added the optional twist of Use Pretty Papers, so why not come and join us, we have a great sponsor again with goodies for you so nothing to loose.

For my card I used the image Lily in the garden, I think she's cute.

Coloured with Copics and Pro markers, the paper was from Ribbon Girl before she closed, its been a beautiful pad and I have only the odd one left.. don't you just hate using nice papers up...daft I know...

This is a topper, I do make the odd one like this ready to go on a card or a notebook or whatever takes my fancy.

Thats all for today, I hope your all surviving this crazy weather, I think we have finally stopped the roof from leaking, my youngest son got up there and did alot of work on it, so fingers crossed, the problem is because I live in such a wide open space we get blasted full throttle and it will get in no matter, but when I see all the poor souls flooded out I thank God for a simple leaky roof.

CraftyCats challenge #494 ATG

So sorry for being late this morning, not a great day for me so far and I forget to schedule my post so SORRY...

This week we have our lovely Nick chooshing the optional theme which is food, we are sponsored by Beccys Place who very kindly gave the team images to use, but I have one I bought recently so I used that. You will find all the images in the shop HERE

For my card I used Strawberry patch, its a digi image and you actually get a set, so I made two because I wasn't getting the finish I had in my head, still not sure I am lovin' these but there you go.

First card is this one, the sentiment came with and you get pre coloured as well which this is

This one I did the colouring as you probably guessed, still think I could do better but there you are.

Thats it ladies, hope your all looking forward to a nice weekend, we are still battling storms here and my roof isn't getting sorted anytime soon, its a big worry, but then I see so many underwater, suffering the loss of everything and I thank God I am not having to walk in those shoes. Thought I would share this while I can, I bought this set of 3 Artboards for a birthday treat last week, they are from CraftStash, and you will find them HERE , and I was so happy to get my hands  on them, this is the first one, its a birthday theme for a friend.

OK Funky Fossil Artboard MDF. 

I covered with Minty papers, Dear Diary and Secret place which include many extras, like the clock and the little card, various dies and wood heart from stash. Then I speckled it with silver foil and added some grossgrain ribbon.

Hope this one caught the light better. I did make a box to match and this morning found it sat in a puddle where my roof had leaked with the over night storm....{thanks a bunch Dennis.....}

CraftyCatz challenge #493 ATG and a question at the end....

Good morning and a Happy Valentines day.

Here is my card using this cute Farming Bunny.

Image coloured with promarkers, the 'hello' is  diamond press, wood heart from stash and I added a touch of gold foil, the corrigated card is also stash but I think I bought when one of the online craft shops was closing.

So, I have a question, for those of you who have comment waiting do you ever NOT add a perfectly normal comment to your post....I ask because I recently found that someone I have left comments for on a daily basis has been doing just that to my comments, why!!!!!...really can't think, I have never had a cross word or done anything to my knowledge to this person, but I found out quite by accident and went through post after post, I was shocked and very upset. but now decided to just let it go. It could be that gossip was the cause in which case its done me a good turn, I hate gossips, they make things hard for people and they never have the truth. I just wondered about anyone else, I just can't believe that anyone would do this, I mean we all love our comments...so if you have any ideas I would love to hear them and I will publish you can be sure of that, PHEW, glad to get that off my chest...haha...

Simple birthday card

Hello folks, hope your having a nice Tuesday, the weather is playing ball its bright and breezy, a nice change from fog or rain and more rain...

OK, I made this for a friends birthday and can now show, it was quite an easy make, just coloured up the image which is called Floral Border and you can find HERE and die cut the sentiment, done.

Coloured with pro markers and polychromo pencils, I have been asked why my work looks shiny , well I usually 'set' everything with a quick spray of Crafters companion spray and shine, its like a light varnish if you will, I just prefer it on some things. The DP is again Craft Sensations.
Added for a friend..the alphbet dies are die namics.
