CraftyCatz challenge #517 ATG and we are back.

Hello and welcome to a brand new challenge at CraftyCatz, we have enjoyed the break but its nice to get back on track, can you believe we are in September.!!!!!!! I don't get it at all, dare I say we will be putting the tree up before long....{ sorry }
****************
OK, this time our host is our lovely teamie Chris, she wants the optional theme to be Anything but Square, you'd think that was simple enough wouldn't you..ha!! wait and see....
Our sponsor is Bugaboo who so kindly provided our images.
I chose the image Heels Christmas Shoe and spent a while colouring up and setting it out, taking the photo and all that jazz when I realised it was SQUARE....screammmm so it was back to the drawing board, but I think it worked out, but thats why I have two cards on.
Coloured with promarkers, lots of glitter and glitter netting used, lets face it everything got the glitter treat, satin bias ribbon used.
So thats that, onto card 'cock-up'
Not as good is it really, so it just shows, sometimes its good to start over..haha..

may enter a challenge or two here.

This week my Grandson Jacob had his first day at School, it was a trying time for all of us, he wasn't really sure he wanted to go, and because of the virus the kids haven't been able to go and spend time with the new set up, so all quite strange. Anyway, after a short burst of tears he went and had a good day,{ having Aunty Carla there helped,}
 ...but here he is all ready to go, did not like the tie one bit.

Thats all from me for today, thanks for joining me here, I always appreciate your visits.

Janette, you made me laugh! How many times do I do this??? Get carried away creating and then realise that I haven't even thought about the theme I'm supposed to be using....I do love your finished cards though (especially the rectangular one- it really has the WOW factor!)
Jacob looks so smart and grown-up in his lovely new uniform, glad his day turned out well.
All three of my granddaughters were happy to get back to school- they said it was a bit strange at first but great to be back with their friends.

Hi Janette your cards are gorgeous. I often do that with Design Team cards. 😊 I am pleased that your grandson had a good day at school. Everything is all so strange now. Have a good weekend. Take care. Hugs Jackie

Sorry if I have missed a few posts, our weather is too nice to be indoors and outside activities took over. Most beautiful designed project as always, love seeing what you make. ♥

Well the important thing is that you now have two cards. I must say I do love the frosty-glittery stars though. CarolG

PS it's been an upsetting year for kids in all kinds of ways. I read news article recently about a child who was born at the start of the big lockdown and hasnt played with another child in his life.

Ach poor Jacob, but glad he settled down. We sometimes don't realise what the kids are going through today. I love both your gorgeous cards, a definite happy mistake Janette and a win win for you.

2 gorgeous cards Janette, but don’t you hate it when you do a card then realise you didn’t include the theme! Lol I have made that mistake so many times! Lol Take care, stay safe and have a great week xxx

These are both beautiful, I think the sparkle looks amazing too, I hope Jacob enjoyed it, it certainly is a weird time for little ones at the moment, they just take it all in their stride, hugs Pops x

First of all, Jacob is such a cutie! Glad he had a good day, hope it continues to go well. Now for the gorgeous cards, I'm so glad to see I'm not the only one who overlooks things (recently I have been overlooking posting the cards). I love your image and the colors you have chosen for it!

Christmas card....oh noooo....

  Quick card, I bought lots of serviettes recently, can't resist a pretty image. This card is made using one of them, hence, Christmas.....
