Bored of the footie...me too....

So sick of it already so a new card, bought this stencil from ebay and it arrived double quick, so tonight had a play, I used inks but the reason I bought this one is to use on fabric and I am waiting on the fabric paint, I am so chuffed with the result and can't wait to do whats in my head.....I know, it can go pear shaped but I'm hoping for Oranges...:}

The actual stencil is two of these oranges and leaves falling and its so pretty, but for a quick card i did the one, a stamped sentiment from an old set and some gingham vellum from the box.

Off topic, here is a photo of my granddauther Mia's cat, Luna, she is the sweetest and firmly believes she owns all the houses on the road, everyone, including the dogs, just let her roam around, this was yesterday as I waited for my shopping to come, she seems to know and just plops herself on the bags..:}

Thats it again ladies, see you soon.

Hello on this scorcher of a day....

Hello lovely people, hope your enjoying this heat after all the ups and downs of last week. I just nipped in from my back garden to grab more cool water and post this while I remember.

I thought I would do another serviette heart, I bought these again from Asda, cut out a piece of grey mountboard from Dovecraft thats been waiting along time, took the backing off the tissue and got to work with modge podge, cut out a few of the Bee's from the pattern  and backed them with white card, and cut out, added the little woodern hive and  when it was all dried I just arranged them doing there 'thing' and edged it with a touch of black ink, I tried to do some free hand wording, it was going so well but in my rush.....why !!!!!!!!....I decided to seal is with clear gloss, look close it wasn't a good look, oh well, you live and learn..:}

 Also added some black leather cord I have in stash.

This is the back which is pretty much the same as the front was, I do love these serviettes, won't let anyone touch them, haha. Thats about it again, I am just trying to keep my blog ticking over as I really would hate to lose touch with all the lovely friends I have made here, thankyou so much for the comments I still get, its a blessing isn't it. OK back to my book, I am so enjoying it, its the third one in a series from Maya Angelou, what a wonderful lady, we need more like her in this world.

Sympathy card.

I had to make a quick sympathy card sadly for a friend the other day.

This is very simple, used up some DP from hunkydory, the sentiment is a die from CraftersCompanion and the verse is an Inkylicious one I bought years ago.

I kept the layers to a minimum for posting.

Added the verse onto a matching linen textured paper also from Papermill.

This is the only pic I got of the box envelope with a slight  pattern from a 'very' old stamp, it was once wood mounted.
Thats it, Hope to see you all soon if blogger allows, I won't even go into that daft stuff, but it does send me nuts at times.
Hope you are all well and enjoying abit more freedom  than we have had.
Thanks for your visit.

Goodmorning if you didn't notice this card is for my beloved CraftyCatz challenge, I couldn't resist joining the girls for this one and seeing as Boss lady AuntySue lets me do whatever I want....spoiled or what......I thought it would be fun. No one knew at first I was joining so we had alittle bit of fun but they soon tumbled who the 'special guest star' was..haha..

OK, so the sponsor is the wonderful Hetty Clare Art, and you can find all her brilliant images HERE

For my card I used Buttercup.

Coloured with PM pens, the chippy is from CraftStash and dp from the box of never ending offcuts.

I was thrilled to make this card and to be back with the challenge blog again, although I do keep an eye on them all, haha, out of any other blog I have been on this always felt like home so I stayed for ten years, you never know do you...

Please come and join us and maybe win a great Hetty Clare image...

Me again...

Happy Tuesday, hope you are all well and enjoying the sunshine. We have been celebrating Mia's 18th for a few days now, just friends and family calling all the time which has been a blessing because it wouldn't have happened during lockdown. She has done amazingly well, so much cash, wonderful gifts, it amazes me it really does.

Anyway, I made this for her, saw it on pinterest I think and thought I would have ago.

I printed it out, it was just a case of getting the font to change, not all as I would have liked but she loves it, added a touch of stencilling and popped into a frame I bought online from Amazon, I think its a nice keep sake because lets face it my cardmaking skills have left the building.

Thats it for now, will try keep up with you all, so many lovely friends through blogging.

One last thing, incase your wondering why the rose at the start of this post, its just one that flowered in the garden and its so pretty and smells devine, why not...haha.xx

Hello I thought I should put something....anything on here before I give up all together, I found this I made a while back and never bothered blogging, so here it is.

Crafters companion EF some washie tape and a metal thingy bob for the sentiment which was a set from Craft Stash a couple of TH word die cut from washie tape  and a chippie balloon which has been far to long in a box, ribbon from stash.

About a week or so ago we had a baking day again, this time I made this gorgeous Banoffee pie/cake whatever you want to call it, it was for the kids as they love it, I am not the biggest fan but thats ok, guess who forgot to take a picture, the only one I managed was when it was in the fridge and I snapped it and sent it to my son to say, hey, look what mamma made, haha, but on the up side it was yummy and I have the recipe also.
Sorry about the fridge but you get the gist.
Here is the extra easy recipe

Hope you can read this ok, if you roll over it should enlarge.
