Happy Friday...

Hi everyone, hope your having a lovely week and looking forward to a smashing weekend.

I have had such a busy week, my daughter is on a break as the schools are on hols. so we have been out shopping for fun, went to the garden centre and bought lots of beautiful plants but wow, the prices are sky high I was shocked , after we got back this morning from another little shopathon, I sat for a while in my garden, it got abit too hot so came in and knocked a quick card up, here it is.

Stamped with my lovely big stamp that I can't remember the name of but its had alot of use over time, splashed about....I have to, sorry, layered up and black and white card and deckle edged, the hello die is also layered to give it abit of 'something' left plain inside so I can write to her.

Thats it, its going to a friend and  I do have another  one tucked away though that I can't show yet, even though the person never really comes on I would hate her to see her card by chance.

Here are a couple of the plants I bought.

The Bees are having a field day with the new poppy plants

Still planting and will show my baskets when they are bigger, I love this time of year, enjoy it while it lasts.

Thanks so much I appreciate your visit.xxx

I love your CAS card Janette. Yep! we noticed the plants have increased in price, but I suppose with all the heat they need to bring them on, it cost the suppliers a lot too. Isn't it fun to visit a garden centre? We love going, but hubby stopped me going last year, he said I bought plants that had nowhere to go, what a silly thing to say, there's always room for one or may more? :)

Your card is gorgeous Janette, it's a beautiful stamp and i love the elegance of black and white.
Glad you have had a good week, I love looking round garden centres and choosing plants even though the prices are astronomical and I have to rein myself in! The poppies you chose are fantastic, such amazing colours. I really love poppies them and was cross earlier in the year when O/H dug them up so he didn't tread on them when painting the fence- then 'forgot' to replant them so they died but there's a small clump he missed and the buds are just about to open.
Enjoy your garden and the lovely sunshine.

Lovely card, and lovely design
Yes the price of plants has gone through the roof, I have been replacing some of my beds in the back garden, so far I keep finding bits and transplanting parts of other plants to fill in the new rockery,
Enjoy the fine weather, yesterday was really hot down here. cant complain Glastonbury in a few weeks so it will rain on my garden

Beautiful card, Janette, I love that same and how you let is shine. Your flowers are beautiful! Love that poppy, Iʻm hoping my lavender starts blooming soon. Planted it last year and it had definitely spread out, but no beautiful flowers yet.

Stunning card and wow that Poppy is so beautiful. I do miss mine from my old house this one has very little in it. Mind you less for dog to eat. Neighbour has some lovely purple and red and me and Rory always stop and look at them. You have green fingers for sure.

How nice to see a corner of your garden Janette, and your recent buys. I guess you are enjoying your summer days and those lovely northern evenings by now. We are having even more rain and lots of snow down south. CarolG
