Abit of what you fancy and all that...

Its not always great to get what you fancy, I LOVE snow, the cold weather does not love me or my health problems, but I love to see the snow and the all the children playing...OK then, I had this in my file from last year, I was playing with air dry clay, made some little flowers and a few hearts, not overly impressed then thought I wonder...so i set to it, made a plain old box with Papermill cardstock and covered it with Minty Polish papers and the made a top, covered it with tissue paper all crinkled up and lots of modge podge added the flowers, heart and some power tex balls, a few other bits and bobs, once dried i painted, first coat black, while still wet i added the copper and a touch of silver which is hardly visible, let dry and that's it...now I have to be honest, I really don't care for it, I do stuff like this all the time, but I am dragging as much out of file and posting for a reason, so you will believe me when I say I did that or I made one of those...that's all I will say about it...

Top view so maybe you can make a few things out..

Playing around..

Hello lovely people, cold here but lovely blue skies...so far anyways..

Just thought I would add these to my blog, I was having a play around the other day, made a couple of simple cards and a page from one of my books, so all good...

Now I don't confess to being an expert at this, but I do love playing and not always brave enough to show, the little stamps were a freebie in a mag recently, all TH  stuff, so I got to work with inks and my favourite acrylics and a nice bow...

This is same mount board off cuts, the stamp is from a set I bought when I first started crafting, long time ago and all forgotten about, the same for the sentiment, amazing what you find when your not even looking....

Onto the pages, I made a pocket in this one, there will be several before I'm done, I love pockets, all the images are from the same magazine freebie, it had so many stencils, stamps and free papers which I can't even think of using right now, you do realise this is the girl who won a 12x12 book of TH DP years ago, seriously years, still have some...the quality is outstanding and I am saving them for something....ha ha...

LOVE this sentiment...

BTW the magazine was Simply Cards..well worth the money...

Good morning how has your week been, its quite cold here and we have had a flurry of snow which has now turned to ice, looks pretty from the lounge window..not so pretty driving around in it I should think....OK, on with the challenge..

Here is my card using  Pretty in Plaits.

Coloured with Flex markers,and a little cross hatching on her hat done with pencils, card stock is Paper Mill and isn't that DP lovely, don't ask where its from I had it so long, I really should keep track more so sorry, in fact all but the image was stash, we are all threatening a year of using up our old stash first, we will see, cut to next month when I have a birthday...ha ha

I think he is gorgeous, ha ha, coloured using Flex markers, the sentiment is one I cut up and used fragments of.DP is a very old one from stash...[ yes I am using up what I can]

I used Dream Charlie

Coloured with Pro and Flex markers, the backing card is just one I made with a stencil I also made so I could play around with inks...do love a check pattern....the stamp is an oldie from stash and it no longer has its name, washie tape for the share and love sentiment and string is also stash..
