CraftyCatz challenge #536 ATG

 

Good morning, have you had a good week even in lockdown, same old same old here but it'll soon be Spring again...

 This weeks host is our lovely Dianne, she wants the optional theme to be THANKYOU. All the  images we used were provided by our sponsor.

I chose the rustic flowers just because I like it, coloured with promarkers, backed with gold card and cut the sentiment with the same, as you can see the deckle edger was out to play again.

Think thats all today, I enjoyed making this one I love the image so much.

In other news, our little sweet boy Jacob was so poorly at the start of the week and after abit of a worrying time they found he has Scarlet Fever, I was so shocked, haven't heard of it for years, thank heaven for anti-biotics, I am happy to report he is getting better by the day, just hope his little brother  stays clear, if its not one thing its the other.

Second post of the day...just playing around

 

Ok so after a late start I thought I would tackle this one. I saw something similar...much better...from Kath Stewart HERE, she is a wonder with everything she touches, well kath hung a calendar from hers but I just added a little sign, go see Kath' though, omg she is amazing.

The background was one I made on the gel plate ages ago, just bonded two pieces of Dovecraft Greyboard together, added the patterned card then started stamping away, mostly ranger and some freebies from a mag, also ranger, got my jewllery stash out and added some little bits to hang the sign on, thats it, oh and added some leather cord for the hanger.

Morning, sorry I am abit late today but here now.

This week it was Christines turn to choose the optional theme and she went for Winter Fun. Our sponsor is Bugaboo who provided all the images we used.

 I went for the image Winter Birds Ski.

Coloured with Promarkers, added glitter to the slope, DP The Works wax cord from stash.

Last week I saw this image on a friends blog and went and bought it, she reminds me of Mia, always reading from the very start, she loves books.

She is from Julia Spiri and you can find all the images HERE 

Coloured with PM pens, the embossed folder is from 'heaven knows where', the leaf die was a gift from a long suffering friend of mine.The little metal slot is a docrafts item I have had in a box froever.

 I went for a pre coloured image for once and I like it :)

This is Pierre the Postie, I think I love him...

I used as many sentiment stams as I could on the card, just thought it was a good idea at the time, I mean postie brings us everything...right...!!!

I have nothing planned for the weekend, I was very down in the dumps this week, I try to cover it but it got to me abit, it would help if I could get outside, but this awful weather keeps me trapped and I don't do well with that, anyways, I had a good talk with myself and thought how lucky I am in so many ways and how I should stop my whinging, so I did and thats fine now..:) The moral of the story is, if your abit off, its ok, tomorrow is another day and this virus has to go at some point.

Hello card...

 

Hi lovely friends, I must be on a roll, two cards in two days, is it a record for me....who knows.

This is a lovely Mo image and I just felt like colouring her up, it came together fast, 

Coloured using Copic markers, DP is Polish paper and the little charm is a TH. I have been spending my vouchers like a mad woman, bought lots of TH goodies, oh and before I forget the deckle edge cutter has been at it again. Isn't she small and mighty :) love her.

I also want to show you this little ditty, I bought this TH folder just before Christmas but only just trying it out, this is first attempt and although I am not over the moon I hope I can do better next time.

Just ran black card through and then used some rub n buff, so happy I bought this though.

A Christmas card...don't all shout at once....

 

Afternoon, hope your having a good day, its very dark here today and yesterday, much to my delight, we got snow, YAYYYYY...well it didn't stay for to long but it was so wonderful to see, to much salt in the air here...😟

Ok why am I here...I won on I love Promarkers with one of my Christmas cards and got to go pick 3digi images from Digi Doodles Studio and picked up some sweet snowmen.

This one is called Jolly Ol' Sparky snowman

He is coloured with Promarkers, I added some fine glitter, cut out the little 'let it snow' dies a few times and layered up, the spiky bits round the oval are from christmas trees that were still left over, so I broke them up and bobs your uncle.
 

Kept it simple, as flat as possible for posting.

CraftyCatz challenge #533 we are back.

 

Good morning and we are back and want you to come and join us with our new challenge, hosted by the lovely Billie, her optional theme is food and drink.

We were given the images to use and I chose Birthday Cocktail.

 Kept it very simple and haven't added a sentiment yet. The image was printed onto white cardstock from 'Elaine the Marker Geek', its THE best card to colour on and you will find it HERE and its freepost, sadly UK only..... Coloured with promarkers, pink DP is from stash.

Thats it for today, I am glad to be back to be honest, it was fine then it wasn't :)...Hope you are all keeping busy and are having a nice new year so far. I know some of my blog friends are melting in the heat, we, here in the UK are not, it seems to get colder with every passing day, don't get me wrong I love to see frost and snow but its abit parky out there,  having said that, my Polish dil was telling me its below 20 where her parents and family are, so we shouldn't moan, or 'I' shouldn't :)

A Christmas project I never posted.

 

Hello there lovlies, its freezing here and the wind is making it feel worse, I cannot get warm today at all, thankfully I have a roof over my head which is more than some poor souls out there.

This is something I made way before Christmas, it was a book of toppers from Hunkydory, I buy sometimes because they can come in handy, so I made a bunch of cards for Mia to send out to her friends, she did love them so job done.

 

This is just the topper I used to make the little card holder but isn't that tree gorgeous.

Sorry I didn't take more pics now, but you get the gist.

 

This topper is from a magazine giveaway from at least 2014, I was a having clear out...

We are back on total lockdown here again in the UK, its a long haul this one, take it from someone who hasn't been outdoors since last February, its not great but got to be done, I am just thankful for a nice warm home, food on the table and people I can call upon. At christmas we had so much food over it was a sin, so I started making sandwiches up, ended  up with a huge box full and my daughter and her partner went round the streets giving them out, she was humbled by the experience, I mean we all give to charity and the Sally army but going to actually face these poor forgotten souls is another story, no one deserves that.
