CraftyCatz challenge #508 ATG

Hello and welcome to our last challenge of May, where the month has gone I really don't know, but then again I have no idea what day it is half the time so maybe thats a clue......!!!!

I have two posts this morning so please have a look at the one below its kind of special to me...

Here is my card using the images Connected.

DP is from  Paper Boutique perfect partners pad. Image coloured with pro and flexmarkers, word die is Diamond press.

Baby card .

Thanks for coming and having a little look at this post, my dear friend Sue, {AuntySue in blogland,} has just had her very first grandchild, a beautiful boy, she has waited so long for this and he is a little bumper. As soon as she told me the news about it all I made a start on making a blanket for him, and then the card, I was really pleased with how it turned out.

Mo image coloured with pro markers. The standing card is from CraftStash, Papers were from eBay and the Baby die is a Sarah Davis Signature collection and its so sweet. Ribbon from Ribbon Girl pearls etc from stash.

 Kept the back as CAS as poss and added a tag in the pocket with the sentiment.

This is the box I made to keep it in, I do love a boxed card don't you...

Best of all Sue said it didn't get crused, haha, I did pack everything in a big box and got it collected so all was well.

A look at the blanket I made him, for anyone interested this is the best wool for a Baby, its called Bernat Baby wool and I got mine from Wool Warehouse,  its so warm and lightweight, my grandsons both still have theirs, and it crochets up like a dream, you can make one in a night or two.

Coloured with promarkers, the DP is from heaven knows where, and the clip on the side should have been removed before I took the pics, where is my head, I could have taken fresh photo's couldn't but well whats done and all that, haha..

Hello all, hope your well, I was having a play around over the weekend, this took me a couple of days to make because of the layers drying out. I have tried to add a few 'as we go' pics of this so hope it doesn't bore you to death.

I found an old board canvas, decided to cut into a heart....was not easy but got there in the end

Score marks were just a guide to try get it even

Ran lots of off-cuts through the machine with the TH folder, I love this one.

So began adding some wood letters wrapped in some wire with the odd bead, cuts some keys a few times to bulk up, lots of pebbles scattered around, a small heart I made from left over clay ages ago, just about anything, I also 'studded' round the outter edge with brads, as you can see it was a matter of what can I throw at this next... until it was ready for a first coat of flat black

Once dry added gold, metallic blue paints, and finally some silver rub and buff. I am thinking of adding more of the blue, just dry brushed, but will see.

I added a hoop at the back, which is covered in the same embossed paper so it can be hung.

Let me know if you think it needs a brightener will you.

Good morning, well its Friday again and we have a brand new challenge for you at CraftyCatz.
This week our host is Boss Lady AuntySue, she asked us to make the optional theme of OutDoors...our brilliant sponsor is the one and only DrDigi who so kindly provided our images and you can find them HERE

For my card I used one of the images provided and one I won earlier in the year and merged them.

Images are Green fingers and thumbs and Ted and his shed.

I coloured with promakers and copics, the sentiment is pc generated, it just makes me smile looking at her face, it would be so typical of a man not to notice her huge melon wouldn't it, haha. I do amuse myself..

The DP is from an old pad I think it was CraftySensations.

Surprise surprise I'm back again..

Hi all, hope your enjoying the sunshine we are happily having.

I saw that over at the CRAFT challenege  they have their 11th birthday bloghop, so thought I should join in, lots of prizes to be won apart from supporting an old DT I was part of a while ago.

I made a birthday card, which is the theme BTW, with this wonderful image I bought on Etsy last week from Hetty Clare

For this card I used an image called Mirror Pony and you can find it and so many more HERE

I think this is such a fun image, made me laugh and the others just crack me up, I have a few...

Same again but added a few sticky back pearls.

I really enjoyed making these for my dearest friend who is about to have her first grandchild, I packed everything up and off it went, and naughty naughty they opened everything...Susan!!!!haha
I made a separate card for Sue which I will show another time.

Have a lovely day all, the latest talk is maybe lifting some of the restrictions, this is causing alot of people to worry, I would rather stay in till the cows come home to keep my friends and family safe.

We all miss our families and friends, Mia came to the door yesterday to grap some icing sugar, I insisted she stand inside the doorway while I got for her, it took us all our time not to hug, she got home.....two doors away...and broke down in sobs, its hard isn't it but we will get through God willing, can't wait to grab my family and hugs and kisses all round...haha..
