Thankfully Christmas comes but once a year...........

 

Morning lovely people, after yesterday I am fit for nothing today, can hardly walk but I think its worth it to make the house look all Christmassy. Thought I would share what I was up to, the Tree and fireplace, still got a few things to add but its going to take a while before I can move about properly.

 and I made this little book/journal from the die my friend Carol sent me out of the blue, its the first chance I had to play, granddaughter said its cool so it passed a test, thankyou again Carol, I have plans for more.

This is it, I covered it with one of the gelli plate designs I made ages ago

Just stamped each page with a very old little image I still love, it started out on a wood block but long since removed, it is pretty.

and this is a card I made last week

Coloured some card with chalks, embossed the image in white and then tore up some vellum for the sentiment, the edges were all cut on my brand new gift to self, TH deckle edge cutter, love it, worth every penny, as soon as I saw it I went to CraftStash and pre ordered it, its fab.

Thats it, I won't bore you with anymore today, going to have a good rest as I feel at least 90years old, haha...have a great day stay safe and warm, its gone really bitter here.xxx

Good morning I hope you are all feeling well and ready for a new challenge.

I had set this to publish first thing this morning, but as per usual BLOGGER has ignored it, thanks to my friend Ginny for letting me know, well she actually asked if I was ok bless her, I wouldn't otherwise be here at all as today is THE day, my tree is going up and trust me it takes forever to open out each branch and dress it, by this evening I will be ready for bed for sure but so glad its done...😄

Coloured with promarkers, lots of different dies used  and the papers are from the works and lets not forget the glitter, I can't help myself it has to be done....👍

CraftyCatz challenge #528 ATG

 

Morning lovely people, hope all is well and you had a good week.

This week is our wonderful Ginny choosing the optional theme which is, of course, Christmas. We have  LeAnnsWorld 101 sponsoring and providing our images, you can find them all HERE

For my card I used the image called Aerin-santa sack, it actually has three images but I chopped up to use the sack only.

I was going to make a gift tag, then went for a card and then realised the image could've been bigger but by this time I was proper fed up with myself so here we have it, love it or not its done, my team mates did better trust me. Coloured with the usual PM pens, sprinkling of glitter...{always helps} and kraft card.

 Thats it again, are you all getting busy with the Christmas spirit, got to be honest I am dying to put my tree up and decorate the house, I confess that I always put tiny fairy lights on the staircase and I have already added them, oh it looks so pretty, I usually wait for December to pop up on the calendar but why wait, thats all I have done this year is wait it out, may as well wait with some sparkle....whatever you do with your weekend, enjoy it even if you just have the Christmas channel on, told you, can't help myself.

Coloured with promarkers,White basecard from Papermill Direct, DP is from my drawer....?? I just tore it up a touch and the little stamped sentiment is an old one too..{ not very imformative is it.!!!..}

Craft Challenge Tag

 

Yes I am here on a Thursday whats up with me...well I saw my friend Sue who designs for the Craft challenge had made a gorgeous Tag so I thought I would have ago and enter one of the many tags I have been making for the christmas gifts, its quite a simple design.

Ran the tag through a brickwork folder, used some stickyback silver tape I have on a big roll, added some die cut stars and covered them in glitter and then added the silver elastic, beads and tiny silver starts , cut out a sentiment and done.Sorry the picture is abit 'off', the lighting is awful here.Why not enter the challenge, its fun and you might win something nice.

Hi lovlies, hope you are all ok.

I made this last week trying to get my mojo working, its more my kind of thing, verging onto mixed media I think. Anyway, would be happy if you tell me what you think, not everyones cup of tea for a Christmas card I know, but I think its OK.

 

I cut alot, alot, of trees and words and stuck them together, put some card through an embossing folder from crafters companion and cut some wavy snow bumps. Painted it all up in black acrylic and then dry brushed some silver and white on, a touch of glitter and was done, mounted it onto card and added yet another layered tree inside.tried my best to get a good pic, this is the best I can come up with...Phew....

For my card I used Party Cats

Coloured the image with promarkers and sparkled round the edge and the sentiment got the glitter treatment too, the DP is from the works.

This image could be used for anything, birthdays the lot, the team made some fab creations.

Thats it again, another week bites the dust, I have to mention this, on Tuesday my post came and I was gobsmacked, not only did I  get my very first Christmas card but the most wonderful die set that I was wanting , it was so nice of this blogging friend to do this and I won't give the game away but I can't thankyou enough, what a lovely surprise, blogland never ceases to amaze me.
