Happy Sunday

Hello friends, I hope your enjoying a lovely sunny Sunday, I have a card to share today with a sweet image I saw last week I think...on Chris' blog, I just had to go buy it, she is from Oddball Art and is called Bookworm Astrid and you can find her here

The sentiment comes with, I just cut it up and inked round the edges. She is coloured with a mix of copics and promarkers and added some gloss for her glasses, and glitter of course.The strip of acetate I tore up, scrunched up and inked up, it was rather enjoyable, then I made the envelope and while I was still in inking mode, I did the same and dropped some water on, all looks quite good to my eyes.

Sorry this is so blurred but just to get a glimpse of the inside.

A nice surprise.

I got a lovely little 'pick me up' yesterday afternoon in the post, my friend Chrissy sent me the lovliest card all the way from NZ, I was so happy to recieve it and its so gorgeous, and sometimes the littlest things hit the spot, Chrissy you made my day, thanks so very much I appreciate your friendship.

Now for June, this is my 'wheel' that I used to edge card, I bought it long before the stitched edge dies came along because I like the effect, I do have some dies now but this works well enough for me...hope that helps, haha.xx

Quick post...I hope...

Happy afternoon on whatever day this is....phew...

Just made a very quick card for someone who is 'feeling' it all right now, so will pop through the letter box later on, its nice to know we are thought of..

This set of stamps was sent to me quite some time ago and I can't remember using it, but its so sweet and makes nice small cards, I added very little colour and just rolled the edges with my long suffering wheel, the paper is BTB I think.

made a little envelope which is tied like this as no post to go through, simples, little wood heart I had in stash, wish I knew where it came from i would buy more, its all engraved.

Thats that.

Now the ATC coins, oh my word, I did the first three and I sat there feeling lost really, I had all these ideas but nothing happened as it should, anyway for first try abit hit and miss.

Various I suppose, but just not feeling it...haha

Last but not least Busy Lizzie has recovered and is doing well, she does need slightly dead heading but its raining again, I did measure the width because its massive and the pic doesn't really show it, she is now 4'6'' across and still growing...

Just made this little cutie towards the Christmas lot, it all helps doesn't it.

Mo image coloured with promarkers, the splashes are actually accidental, I was opening a pen it just went splattttt, but its ok it looks 'arty', I tell myself these things just play along...quite abit of glittery stuff too.

Hi friends I hope all is well for you.

This is another 'hid in a file' creation, I haven't crafted at all this week as my health problems are playing havoc and after much fighting with myself, I decided to just give in and stop trying to do'all I once could', its the sunshine it makes me want to do everything...haha..

So, you can see my heart wasn't really in this one but here goes, the stamped images are from a free A4 set from craftstash, I can't praise that shop enough for the great deals they offer up. Coloured with pro and flex markers, the DP is from the scrap box.

Now onto this, it had been thrown out and I took it.....I did know who chucked it so it was fine.

After a good scrub I painted it black it, then covered it with embossed paper

It got another coat of paint then some run n buff and it looks new-ish, not sure if I will do anymore to it but thats another one blogged.

Sorry about the awful pics but I was not blogging them so it didn't really matter and now I just can't be bothered cropping and messing about.

Hello and what a glorious afternoon it is, after a night of thunder and lightening and crazy, crazy rain fall its gorgeous, been in the garden all day while my son cuts back some big trees that have gone to far and it all look good again.

I thought I'd show you this today from my old makes never blogged, its from last year and it hangs in my craft space, all made from off cuts of board,stamped or stenciled  paper flowers and some wings I found in a box and of course a little TH charm.

I can hardly remember each and everything on there but you can see I am sure.

Good morning friends I hope your having a really nice weekend.

The sun is finally out and about and its really very warm and so nice, we are hoping it lasts for a while yet, especially since this darned virus is creeping up again, last week saw Manchester go to lockdown again, last night Preston was told to do the same and really speaking its not that far from me, about 60-70 miles, so abit worrying again, fingers crossed, but I don't think we have seen the back of this horror yet.

OK enough gloom and doom, I have been posting cards that I made and put in a file, this is another , very simple, just used Mintay papers and the chippys are swedish house crafts and craftstash

I added some tiny sticky back beads for the grapes and little tag with waxed cord.

Nice and easy I think.

Thats about it I think, off to sort my washing lines out, I have a feeling my neighbours think I am taking washing in, haha, but honestly you have to get it done while the sun shines, so its bedroom curtains coming up in the next few days, is there anything nicer than a line of fresh washing, haha, it makes my day,{ saddo}...

Wednesday I think.!!!!!!

Thanks so much for helping me with your comments yesterday, its good to know what others think isn't it and at the minute I am on abit of a 'downer', but I will be fine, just a bump in the road we all have them. Anyway, today I have admitted defeat and returned to Legacy, I pray we will keep the option.

I was playing around with paints a few days ago and this is what evolved as I went along, just paints, crackle glaze, string, powertex stones and powder, little glass bottle from the works a million years ago  which I put a note in,{ message in a bottle type thing, haha,} two tiny star fish charms, a little metal anchor and some corrigated card from LLC before it closed, I miss that shop.

Its been more shades of blue than you can imagine but I think I am quite happy with it now, once it dried out I added it to some heavy duty black cardstock from Papermill and threaded some black leather cord across the back so it can be hung. The sentiment is a stamp cut up which came from CraftStash.

So thats about it, this has been so much easier to post today, I think I must be getting old, I am certainly feeling it the last few days, haha. I hope your having a nice day wherever you are, its rained two days solid now and not set to buck up anytime soon....

Just trying this new blogger again for the millionth time, just to see if it will allow me to upload this time so here goes.

Ok found this in a file of not blogged. I bought the image from Hetty Clare a while back and coloured up with the usual markers, I didn'tlike the card when finished so left it alone somewhere, but it makes a good try out. the only pics I have are these but its just a sample and at least its allowing me to post so far so good.

Thats all for now, doing this post its jumping from middle alignment to side and the font colour and type has changed on its own too, is this the end of blogging for me....!!!!!!
